Rain was walking on endless darkness again. It felt too familiar yet it didn't. The only difference was he was seeing himself walking on the endless darkness. He couln't move. It was he was dragged on a flashback of his dreams. He wasn't scared of the unknown now. It wasn't an unknown now because Elina told him that it was the time where he got his ability. He have to brace himself to remember it all. It was funny; he was his own audience that could only anticipate what would happen next. Rain, from the dream, kept walking and walking until he saw a white space where an orb was floating in the middle of the room. When he looked closely, as much as he could, he saw that it wasn't really an orb that was hard but an orb of energy. Maybe, it was mana or not. Only one thing for sure, that was the way he got an ability.
Rain, from the dream, ate the orb of energy without any sense of crisis. Suddenly, he saw Rain(from the dream) smiled. He smiled, an award winning smile that looked crazy but not. He was confused. He couldn't recall that he smiled on those dreams. But Rain smiled like he won a lottery.
"So this is how it feels to have a second ability. Did you say last time that I could get what I desired as long as I imagined it materializing?" Rain from the dream said looking at his side like he was talking to an unknown entity that the Real him couldn't see. "Oh, then I want a power that could transform any object that I willed from anything I want." he said and smiled like it really went according to his plan. He laughed like a maniac. The real Rain couldn't feel anything but the feeling of being an intruder of his own horror of a story. He was scared of himself right there. But reassured himself that it must just be a dream. A delusion that was far from the truth.
Rain suddenly tore his shirt taking a little bit of it on his hand "You will turn to gun." and to his delight it turned, the small piece of cloth, to a gun. "It is loaded." and he laughed. The real Rain couldn't help himself praying that he wasn't that maniac. "Could I turn it to a sword?" he asked again on the entity that the real Rain couldn't see. "What? It has that restriction? Really? What a bummer. When will the monster of desire get here? I'm so bored. I want to test how strong this ability is." he said then it looked in the direction of the Real Rain.
He froze from the spot. "No way, could I really defeat that?! I would die again huh. Come at me!" Rain pointed a gun to the real one and shot it. He couldn't believe it but the only thing he could do was close his eyes. How could he kill himself? Even if it was just a dream it felt surreal. When he opened his eyes again he was back from the bed. He sighed and stood up. He needed an answer. Elina could definitely provide it.
He could say that the trip was eventful last night. He finally had an idea of his ability. The dream also showed him that there's a restriction with his ability. He needed someone to guide him to the right path and Elina was the answer.
He searched the cabin but didn't find Elina. He went to the outside but before he could fully descend he saw Elina. He never had any time yesteday to look at Elina but now he could clearly see that Elina on Earth was different from Elina here. Her short brown hair was long white hair now, not white as the one who were whitening with their old age. It gave an aura that she was really living here, not that he saw a lot of human, but fantasy world like this were commonly have different colors not like on Earth. She wore a garment that showed her beautiful curves like she was a model. He could tell that Elina's beauty compared on Earth drastically changed. She was a beauty on Earth but now she was more beautiful. Maybe that's why he knows her. She was one of the successful doctors on Earth before she went missing. He slowly walked on the direction of Elina.
"So, I had a dream, more like a flashback. I saw myself activating my ability." he started when he knew that Elina could hear him. She was just standing there looking at a lake near the cabin. She turned and faced Rain. She could clearly see that he was hiding something but all of them had secrets. She too had one, too many to mention anyway.
"Then show me your ability." she said gesturing for him to show it to her.
Rain nodded and picked up a stone. He knew that he could transform anything with his mind. Well he interpreted it in his dream. Based on Rain of the dream, that was an idiot, he could surmised that he only needed to think that the thing he was holding was something he wished to transform it into. He willed his mind that the stone he was holding was a gun. It successfully transformed into a gun. A handgun to be exact. It wasn't heavy nor light, it was just right.
"See? I could transform anything I'm holding into anything I think of." he said making a gleeful face. But to his disappointment the only thing he saw from Elina's face was also a disappointment.
"This ability was not the one I saw yesterday. Maybe, your a dual ability user." Elina said looking at Rain with an impressed look. Maybe this was what Adan said to her. She should train Rain because he was that powerful. Based on the ability she saw yesterday it was an ability that surpassed even the ability of the man named Leonell yesterday who was also from Earth and the one who held the rank 1 from all ability users that were accounted to their group. It was a story for another time. She was quite glad that the student or the disciple she will have was this powerful. She thought Leonell's ability was too OP but she never could imagine that someone could be more OP than him.
She sighed. She knew now why Adan specifically let her train him. She was the only one capable of using his ability to it's maximum. Her ability and Rain's was not different, his first ability anyway. The only thing different was her power could be restricted by another ability like Leonell. While, Rain's ability was unrestricted by abilities. It was too OP. She couldn't believe it yesterday so she couldn't contain her excitement now that Rain was a dual ability user.
"You know, for someone who is skinny as fck and lanky as you... you have great luck." she said looking at Rain with a mockery laced on her voice with admiration. She was not belittling Rain as a matter of fact but she was finding it funny.
"I'm not mocking you alright? I'm just surprised. But do not worry... With my ability as your master you would pack some muscles at the end of the year." She said with a glint of happiness for the first time after she came here. She was truly happy. She now has someone she could rely on sooner.
"Let's begin the training!"
