I feel that these photos are enough to define me.
My achievements: I feel that I spent the first half of my life gathering achievements. Like a dragon that would hoard valuables, I hoarded awards, like they were the most precious treasures I could ever get close to having. This photo was of a trophy from 10 years ago. Even as I thought that my achievements didn't matter to me anymore, I still couldn't help but take a photo of this when I saw this being displayed at my alma mater. As it turned out, saying these didn't matter was just me, hypocritically trying to deny what made the first half of my life.
My friends: I feel the most complete with my friends; I feel the most feelings when I'm with them. They are the ground beneath my feet. They are the leash that would stop me from going on a permanent vacation. I have realized that I spent the first half of my life hoarding the wrong things; Subsequently, I would spend the latter half treasuring the hoard of friends I've gathered.
My writing: I express myself the most through my writing. Everything I can never tell anyone; Every words I almost spilled out, but swallowed and choked on; Every implicit feelings that I can never be brave enough to pour out; Every experience that I can never bring myself to spill out. I write these, afraid that my hands would be too full of words and thoughts, that I can't hold on to any more. Afraid that they will overflow, and I will be forced to drop those that I hold when I try to pick up what fell out.
