To separate everyone, Quenilla first used a water spell of which separated them all into groups of one, as the plan would suggest. Then, in order to keep it from going out of control or something, I used some ice magic to freeze it all.
Anyway, as you can guess, I'm with that guy that apparently leads their team...
Well, he's just standing there doing nothing for some reason, so I guess I'll use this time to appraise him! Huh, I'm getting a strange sense of deja vu for some reason... oh, that doesn't matter! Nope!

Eh...? Wait, hold up a minute! I didn't read anything wrong, right? Like, huh? I feel like there's a lot of things that I just read that need a lot longer to comprehend!
First of all, huh? He's a 'hero'? Seriously? Isn't that like, a staple in this genre? Why am I fighting a Hero?!
Adding on to that, his stats and levels are super high! And that's not even taking into consideration how many skills he has! I mean, I have a lot of skills because of Gluttony and everything, but it looks like he got these just from level-ups!
And then, finally, there's that weird 'Pride' skill! Isn't that like one of the seven deadly sins? Just like Gluttony is? Wait, doesn't that mean there could be five other skills just as strong as Gluttony...? Wait! That means maybe that Pride skill is super strong! That's, uh, not good... Appraisal won't even work on the skill, either.
Wait, he has Appraisal too? Doesn't that mean he might be able to figure out I'm a slime? Uh oh...
Damn it! I don't want to fight this guy knowing he's this strong, now...
Oh, great! And now he's coming at me, unsheathing his sword while at it! I didn't fully notice before, but he's super intimidating! He has this constant glare and a really intense feel to him!
Okay, okay, I just need to calm down... he might be better than me in almost every way, but I just need to come up with a trick or something to win! Like... something. Gust and Increase can make up for the stat difference, at least for agility and strength.
Huh? He's casting a spell? Already? At least give me a chance to think, come on!
"Light Magic: Light Spears." In an instant, eight or so spear-like constructs appeared behind him, hurtling right at me!
Wait, whoa! Those are super fast! Like, extremely fast! We're pretty far away, but they're right in front of me!
Okay, I quickly activated Gust, dodging each of the spears just barely... okay, that was close... huh? He's right at me! Inches away from slicing me in half with his sword! So, he just wanted to distract me, didn't he? That spell was just a distraction! And I fell right into his trap!
Okay, I see only one way that I won't get hurt by this... Defence Form! Yeah!
The moment his sword connected with my body, nothing! His sword didn't even lay a scratch on my body! Hah! Seriously, this skill is way too good... there has to be some sort of weakness, right? Well, sure, I can't move at all while I'm using it, and after I activate it I can't deactivate it for five seconds, but it's still super good, right?
He jumped back, maybe expecting me to counterattack... but, no, I didn't. Well, I want to, but I can't, you know?
He stood a fair bit away from me, taking a step to the side, probably thinking of what to do next.
Well, the cooldown is over, so now I can move! All I have to do now is just... what am I even supposed to do? I mean, can I even win this?
Sure I can! Probably, yeah!
Oh, god, he's already going on the offensive again, running at me while casting another spell. In the meantime, I quickly take out my sword.
"Water Magic: Water Prison." He spoke in an eerily monotone voice, casting once again another spell.... wait, Water Prison? Doesn't that mean...
And just as I thought, surrounding me was a sphere of concentrated water and mana, seemingly preventing my escape. That's... not good.
"Light Magic: Holy Whips." Appearing in each of his hands was a long tendril made of extremely dense light, reinforced even further with slightly spiked mana... hey, that's pretty advanced stuff, isn't it? Manipulating the shape of mana itself in such a specific way? Oh, oh god, that's the least of my problems right now.
The whips are coming right at me from opposing sides. Like, just as fast as the spears from before... oh dang, I can't dodge this, nor do I have enough time to even activate any skills!
... this is gonna hurt.
One of the whips hits me on the left-hand side of my face, knocking me into the other while hitting me on the right side of my waist. This continued...
Okay! I just need to focus! Cast just one spell! I've got it!
In the slight time before another of the things hit me, I'll cast it! Usually, I would use this spell to trap somebody else... but not now!
I cast Encapsulating Ice on myself! A hollow shell of cubed ice surrounding me and in turn protecting me from the blows of the whips! This won't last long though, it's meant to protect from the inside, not the out.
This is seriously going to be hard...
