Luo Ming was hunting as always in the forest. Her catches were much fewer today. Unfortunately, she didn't have enough to satiate her hunger. Despite of her little size she eats a lot. She need tree or four rabbit just for one meal. Hearing her little tummy grumbling, she had to go farther away of the house. She was little afraid but the hunger was stronger than her fear. She mustered all her courage and go off the border she had create. She was really nervous at the beginning but slowly she was more at ease. After thirty minutes off the border she starts humming a song as she strolls through the forest. If she had a red hood, we would have expected a wolf. There was strangely nothing in the forest as if all animals flee some calamity. She didn't think too much about that until she found once again trace of human. This time they were more, way fresher. She was sure human pass here less than two
hours ago, and it was alarming. She though they were chasing her. After all, her little legs couldn't bring her far away from the sect. Even if she really didn't know where she is. She was sure her clan was nearby. They took so much time to find her thank to Elder Xu.
"So, they found me.... I have to go away to not implicate elder Xu...".
Thinking about the strange but kind old man that save her, she started smiling while tears began to flow out.
"Elder Xu was gone since more than three months now. Maybe... maybe it is already too late! If they found him, they.... they..."
her face change from worry to grief then despair. She was sure that kind old man saves her once again but this time he lost his live because of her.
While she was thinking about her situation, a white flash passed in front of her. She was startle awake by it but she didn't have time to process anything when a huge explosion came from behind her. Suddenly, a pressure crushes her. She almost choked because of it. A deafening roar echoed in the forest. All living being were fleeing the three kilometres radius around the roar. Brid were flying, rabbit hopping as fast as they could and wolf were running madly no caring at all about their preys. Almost no one were found in the area apart from four figure.
One was the fear frozen Luo Ming, another was a white wolf who was visibly injured but had a cruel smile. The last two were two brothers, one was madly owling at the sky while the other calmly lying on flour couch blood while trying to prevent blood flowing out of his body from the hole in his belly. Unfortunately for her, Luo Ming was right between the wolf and the brother and even if non one care about her she was bound to be harmed by one or the other side. They were strong way too strong for her to try anything but strangely when she looks at the white wolf, she had the urge to help it.
"I'm sorry... it looks like I wouldn't be here for you anymore. kuff, kuff
– stop talking, you will survive just stop talking
– kuff, kuff, I.0.. kuff kuff...I had fun with you but... but don't blame yourself th.... that wolf is...kuff, kuff
– hey stop talking already!!!
– way more dangerous tha..
– can you just listen to me once!!!
– don't fight him...kuff... you will … also....
– big brother?! BIG BROTHER!!!!!"
The man on the floor let out his last breath and his brother as if he was possessed by a devil, let out a roar and rushed a sword in his hand to the wolf. The wolf who seems to know his end was near didn't try anything merely fixing the death bringer coming for him. But before the emotionless blade cut of his head, he saw the corpse of a frail young girl in front of him trying her all to stop it. Her blood splashed on him but the blade continued without even pausing. The blade was nearer and nearer but all he was thinking about was the strange flow of heat coming from his head. It was as if all the cuts and bruises he received from the earlier fight was healing at an absurd rate. His strength recovered more and more rapidly. By the time the blade connects with his fur, he was completely healed. And more importantly he felt stronger than before.
The only thing that came on his mind now was the blood of phoenix. It was the only thing in this world with such effect. Sadly, he didn't have time to collect more of it. His enemy was after all a peak qi gathering expert while he just breakthrough to the qi realm. He dodged the sword attack and took some distant with this mad man. If only the man was in his right state, he would have seen the wolf had dramatically change. The white wolf bur suddenly turned hazy.
In the dense forest the wolf slowly disappears letting just one man and shortly be dead little girl. All the hatred of the mad man gathered on her. Even if her gruesome injury made her head fuzzy, she felt distinctly his gaze of hatred. A hoarse voice breaks down the awkward silence: "you... you made him flee! You, crazy bitch will pay for saving that beast. I will tear you in piece, cut you over and over. Don't think about dying. Even if you beg me, I will not allow you to die so painlessly!".
He didn't start by cut her but fish out a pill out of his pocket. He forcefully made her swallow it. Her blood stop flowing out slowly after and the wound start to slowly close itself. He was apparently satisfied with this outcome:
"Ho... you assimilate very well the pill, if only my big brother had a body as good as your maybe I would have been able to save him... I will start by breaking all your fingers then yours arms and legs and do something more exiting after"
He followed his threat and break all of her finger. At each snap, a painful and pitiful scream resonated in the calm forest. Luo Ming didn't cry, but her voice was more and more hoarse from all her scream. The incensed hunter didn't pity her at all and continued his torture with a wicked smile on his face.
"why are you screaming for? I just crack them a little they are barely broken! Ho look at those slender leg! What will happen if I bend them a little. It hurt? No way they look perfectly fine to me! Let's see if I can make a 'o' shape with them"
he suddenly grabs her left leg and started bending it to make a perfectly 'o' shape. But sure enough, just with a little pressure a creepy crack was heard.
"ho my.... it is broken already. What a pity! But you don't want to die so let cauterize your leg. Don't scream ok it is bad for my ear"
he burnt all her leg leaving it completely dark and out of shape. Luo Ming want to scream but her hoarse voice give up and left her. She couches blood twice and tear start to appear in her bloodshot eyes. But he hadn't finish yet.
"ho… you can cry after all and moreover you just broke yours voice what a wonderful news. But don't worry you will live for two or three more weeks. I need to find your family and kill them in front of you before you died after all."
when she heard that there was no helplessness in her eyes nor regret but deep, deep hatred and sadness. She thought once more of her cute little brother, her kind grandparents, her beloved parents. She thought once more of her forgotten happiness.
"seeing your eyes, you should have already caused their death and somehow succeed to avoid the calamity."
Saying this he lifted her up by the hair and continued a little shocked by her young full appearance:
"you are such a young cute little girl! How can you be so wicked? Saving a beast and causing your family death. You must have been cursed! Who cares! You save him, you die! The most painful death!" saying this, he brings his sword to her cheek and start peeling her like an apple.
The pain from being peeling was really wonderful. the occasional breeze refreshed the pain and if some leaf or dust landed on the wound, the pain went up to a whole new level. After just five minutes or so her left cheek lost one layer, blood was flowing out inversely but the man didn't stop. The more she tries to scream and cry the more delighted he was. After another five minute the man peeled of all the left side of her face. Now Luo Ming look like a hideous monster, even bloodshot were not enough to describe her eyes that were distorted from the pain and the crying. The worst part was that the water that flow out her left eyes drip down her peeled face that made her cry even more. Not knowing why, she was stuck in this inhuman situation. Why she had to try to save that wolf? Maybe her heart of a six years old little girl couldn't bear to see a cute little wolf being torn in shred? How can she leave that powerless wolf die in the hand of this demon? The pain was now a burden too heavy for a brain but before she passed out, she hears: "you are wasting so much blood for your silly revenge! If you morons hadn't come to hunt me down you would have been living and happy
– you... you beast can speak? How can that be possible?
– Me, your father, is the almighty mirage wolf! How can you judge me by those beast standards! Now enough chit chat die
– How in the wor..."
the man didn't have time to understand what going one when a paw breaks out from nowhere and destroy his head completely. He didn't think the wolf was a match for him so when it disappears, he though it had fled. Sadly, for him, the wolf was just waiting for him to let his guard down and killed it without much effort.
The wolf was quite pleased with himself, admiring his "work". He cleans up his paw a little and turned his greedy eyes to the bleeding Luo Ming. He couldn't wait any longer. It is the legendary phoenix blood we are talking about. How something so precious fall in this shitty world. No, the right question is how someone with this blood wasn't fight over by the different powerhouse of this shitty world. If she was from above even if she wouldn't have the best treatment at least there is no way she would have been left alone in a forest were all kind of person pass. This had to be heaven wish. To have such a heaven defying luck was legendary. First was the seed and now phoenix blood. The wolf didn't hesitate and started lick the painful wound of her. He didn't know anything about contract. If he does, he wouldn't just lick her blood casually like that. Fortunately for Luo Ming, that stupid wolf licks all her wounds without care. He didn't have time to think about eating her when some force brought him into her bloodstream. But that wasn't all. Like a curse he felt his energy slowly being injected in her and strangely he felt also her condition was slowly improving. He calculated the energy he would lose for her to be completely healed and wanted to scream cause of the result. Not only "he" was healing all her injury but also "he" was consuming energy to restore her overdraft bloodline power. Conclusion, he will be stuck in her bloodstream for at least two years. Two fucking years, when he couldn't cultivate nor even keep his consciousness. When all his energy will be depleted, he will fall in a deep slumber where he will not be recovered but help her to recovered.
The healing wasn't a problem even with her hidden injury how much such a young girl can be injured. If it was not for this stupid human, I wouldn't lost energy at all. But the bloodline power was an entire other problem. She hadn't even start to cultivate and she had already used all her bloodline power. How in the world can she survive like that? This phoenix blood is really miraculous.
Now the wolf had two solution, let it go or trying using the seed. That precious seed of him, he risked so much to claim it. If it was not for it how those two stupid hunters would have found him? That seed was his pass to glory! How can he just give it to that stupid girl who overdraft her bloodline power without a once of cultivation? But slowly a scheme germ out of his brain.

After I just need to save her once when I done and leave saying I had fulfilled my contract. A stupid girl like her will surely risk her live twice or thrice a day. Anyway, it is either that or being keep captive in her for at least two years. And with her damn luck, I'm sure some incident will happen and two will become three then five to eternity. What a pity...I don't have the choice but there isn't any risk so maybe it is heaven will! I help her and she help me!
Everything seems perfect in his head. Without more reflexion, he spat out of nowhere a black object of the size of a sunflower seed. It wasn't some unanimated seed. It looks as if something wants to break out of it but the sturdy shell of the seed didn't let it out even if it was distorted way out of it shape. The gentle wolf guides the seed all the way to the dantian of Luo Ming and placed it at his bottom. When the mystical seed touched the blood essence in her dantian a huge tremor resonated in her body. Luo Ming who was completely unconscious started to violently shake, a divine pressure falls on the forest and the quiet forest become even quieter. In her dantian, the essence blood started to surge exponentially, the seed was soon drowned by it. The wolf watched all of this while sensing his energy decreasing more and more rapidly. He didn't think his little help will transform her and his destiny but now he was sure he made a huge mistake. He had no way to control the change in her and worst he was sure that his little sleep will last way longer than he predicted before if he didn't die with her. Now all he could do was pray she survive somehow this disaster. No long after the wolf passed out, the seed finally yielded and merged with the essence blood. The red essence blood start to darkened until it became totally black. Outside the shaking corpse of Luo Ming stopped the shaking and a celestial phenomenon appear. A beautiful black phoenix rushed out of her and illuminated all the forest. The black light enveloped all the forest and frightened the human and the beast. That strange event was recorded by many people. But one in particular had a great impact. The great general of the empire was in that same forest tracking a criminal when the sky suddenly turns dark. A huge pressure washed over him. That pressure was so horrific, he almost cough blood because of it. Even if he supressed that blood he had to leave here. There is no way, he will risk his precious live to capture some insignificant soul realm beginner when such a strong expert wants him out. When he was far enough, he turned once more to the forest and what he saw, had terribly shocked him. He saw the imposing black phoenix flying from the forest to the sky, leaving behind its celestial black flame. The phoenix soon disappeared behind the clouds but the few powerhouse who saw it knew something incredible and dangerous was lurking in this forest.
