Queen's heart
The story opens with a slender female sitting in a forest restringing her bow
Lilith: Mom can we practice today?
Artemis: sure child.
Artemis sends out a gust of wind that forms a boar.
Her body gets covered in a leather armor and cloak.
Lilith's body gets covered in a similar armor. she shoots at the boar and misses striking the ground as it charges her.
Lilith: damn.
She fires an arrow it explodes into small iron fragments and pelts the area by the boar. It dashed out of the way and goes directly for Lilith she jumps back and fires an arrow directly in its face the boar catches the arrow and breaks it. Continuing its Charge toward Lilith she slams into a tree and her armor disappear she punches the ground.
Lilith: damned pig I outa make bacon out of you
Artemis: someone's a little angry girl you'll never be invited to the gauntlet if you continue like this.
Lilith: how do I get stronger?
Artemis: it's not about strength but heart and will the human spirit is split this way. your heart is weak and your will weaker. I bet I could take a direct shot from you and not feel a thing.
Lilith: that's not funny I want to participate in the gauntlet no matter what.
Artemis: my father hates the weak and won't allow you to join. your power must be at match with mine to get the invitation my father made it clear you are the weakest champion of any legend.
Lilith: I know but muscles grow and so can my heart and will.
Artemis: we'll see girl for now go catch a few falcons.
Lilith: yes mam.
Lilith transforms and heads into the forest she jumps up into a tree and runs through the branches like the wind she is unnaturally fast. she looks above the trees and sees two falcons flying in tandem.
She fires an arrow and hits the wing of one injuring it. then something strange happens. as the injured falcon falls the other falcon catches it on it's back and glides down to the ground. unable to control the fall it hits the ground and slides. Lilith goes to grab her catch when she gets to where it landed and is confronted by a man in a black hooded cloak his body huge his muscles bounding. He is holding the falcons and nursing their wounds.
??? : So you're the one I'm supposed to train?
Lilith: who are you?
The man throws his cloak to the ground
Hercules: you don't remember your favorite uncle?
Lilith: uncle!!!!!
She gives him a huge hug.
Hercules:I'm here on behalf of my sister Artemis she wants me to facilitate the rest of your training.
Lilith: really? I'm to train with you so what can you make a clone that I can spar with like tusky moms boar?
Hercules: no young one you must fight me.
Hercules puts down the birds stands up and rushes the girl she jumps over and fires a shot it shatters against his head Hercules grabs her foot from the air and slams her into the dirt she spits up blood and her armor shatters.
Hercules: so you really are pathetic. sleep child!
Hercules punches for her head but she puts her bow up his fist destroys her bow she dodges the punch and rolls to the side she stands with no armor or weapon.
Lilith: so you're here to get me in the gauntlet?
She rushes Hercules and dodges his first punch by sliding beneath him jumps backward and kicks him on the top of his head he laughs and says
Hercules: that's it girl show me what you've got push yourself to the limit.
Lilith: I will beat you if that's what it takes.
Her armor reappears and Hercules attacks she punches his fist.she's blown back thru some trees her armor shatters once again she stands up and calls for it to come back but nothing happens.
Hercules: so you've lost your heart for battle with so little heart there's no wonder dad won't let you fight for the crown you'd die before it even got good.
Lilith: I'm so tired of being told that I have no power in my heart.
She runs toward Hercules he stands excitedly.
Hercules: now that's it lilly push with all you got who said heart is all you need. conviction and the will to face every challenge no matter how hard it is. Is a great power never giving in can get you to new heights you could even beat my old man someday.
Lilith: don't you bring him up it's his fault I can't join in the first place.
Hercules: He's giving you a chance beat me and you'll be able to join. Lose here and you'll be confined to Olympus you have made him angry freely disobeying him, but I like it. Now show me your true strength little one I can't wait to feel your full power.
He charges and the two start intense combat Lilith hits Hercules in the face with a punch he is pushed back on to his back foot
Hercules full of excitement and joy: that's it girl use it all use everything you got.
Hercules swings and lands a punch in her ribs a few crack from the hit she gasps for air steadies herself and counters with an uppercut
Lilith: I shall never break. I will make it to the gauntlet I don't need armor nor weapons to get there.
She punches Hercules he blocks and grabs her wrist and throws her she saves herself from any damage by dexterously landing on a tree and jumps for Hercules and hits him. She manages to make him spit out blood.
Hercules: yes you're improving so fast my sister has no idea the power within you.
Hercules dons his armor and his hands get covered in gauntlets with spikes across the knuckles.
Hercules: now tell me girl do you still wish to continue?
Lilith: I won't give in!
Hercules: Don't say I didn't give you a chance to surrender.
Hercules flexes letting out a boisterous yell the power from it blows away the surrounding trees and knocking Lilith flying backwards she lands on her feet.
Lilith: is that your full strength?!
Hercules: not even close little one.
Hercules speeds over to her and before she can react punches her directly in the face. She is sent flying Hercules catches up with her as she's flying through the air and grabs her face he slams it into the ground the ground. The ground breaks in a large circle around the impact.
Lilith sounding like she's on her last leg: I will beat you and next grandpa Zeus
I will be the strongest champion who ever lived.
Hercules is blown back and Lilith disappears she is now laying naked in a field.
The fates: girl do you believe what you just said?
Lilith: yes every word of it fates I will complete my goal I will be invited to the gauntlet.
The fates: Ha Ha Ha Ha what an ambitious young girl. We shall show you the man who will lead you there. Together you two will become the new king and queen of the gods your grandfather's term is coming to an end, you must be ready for a long road of hard fights ahead.
Lilith: I'm ready for anything fates please help me through this.
The fates: ok we will grant you help as long as you find jay the champion of Medusa.
Lilith: I promise my being to this task.
Lilith's armor and bow appear and shatters. A new set of full armor appears it's wrapped in vines and wood with golden leaves and flowers growing from it. Her crown has the antlers of an elk tipped in gold. There's a gust of wind and leaves and vines stretch out to make a new bow she touches the armor and it melds to her soul she grabs her bow and it wraps around her arm forming petrified wooden gauntlets she shows back up in the forest.
Lilith: Hercules are you ready?
Hercules: ho ho ho let the real battle begin!
They rush each other Hercules swings for her ribs. She grabs his hand and uses it for leverage to hold her body and kicks Hercules down into the ground. Leaving a small crater she jumps up into the trees and vanishes she pulls out her bow and fires a shot at Hercules it pierces his armor and wraps him in vines he yells and flexes. The vines rip like paper from his might.
Hercules: now I can show you my true power!!
The surrounding area gets blown away in a 60 ft. radius
Lilith fires an arrow at Hercules he gets ready to block and the arrow disappears and in its place is Lilith she kicks Hercules in the stomach and sends him flying backwards she backflips and lands gracefully.
Lilith: now I can show you my true power. I'll show you my mom and grandpa .
Hercules: Atta girl the Zeus bloodline has always been that of the strongest.fight me with everything you got.
Hercules displaces behind her and punches her in the spine. She takes the punch gasping a bit and counters with a kick to his chin. Lifting him off the ground she hits him with a barrage of 30 punches at her strongest. His armor starts to crack and he is sent flying this time he hits the ground and spits up a lot of blood.
Hercules: I'm surprised little one no one has made me bleed this much in a while.
Lilith fires another arrow at him this one splits into a barrage of gold bolts and pelts his armor. The golden shards scratch his face she simultaneously fired a different arrow and shows up in front of him. Grabs his head and slams it into the ground. The impact creates a crater the size of the one Hercules made. Hercules looking puzzled and fatigued spits up more blood but her assault is not over she punches him in the chest with a barrage faster than he can even react. His armor starts to break off in chunks now Lilith jumps to the edge of the crater her uncle lay at the bottom.
Hercules: Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha amazing young one grandpa would be proud.
He displaces behind her and before she can turn around she is pelted with 50 punches from Hercules. he grabs her head before she gets thrown away.
Hercules: you're ready?
He hits Lilith time and time again until she falls unconscious.
She has a dream where she's standing in front of thorium and she sees jays first meeting with Medusa. Then she is thrusted to the gate of Olympus where papers are everywhere she picks up one of the paper it has jays face and says a king in mourning of his queen may all of Olympus share his pain. Jay walks through the gate and she runs to him.
Lilith: Are you jay I need to find you where are you
Jay: Find Athena and you'll find me
He melts into snakes.
She awakens in a silk dress in her room atop mount Olympus she sits up with a contemplative look on her face.
Lilith: jay? I wonder what kind of man you are. I hope you're a better king than my grandpa all he cares about is power.
Zeus: I care about family too young one.
She is startled she hadn't seen him in the room when she first woke.
Lilith: sorry grandpa I didn't mean to offend you, I'm still upset with you I apologize.
Zeus: your mother has told me of your progress. You're as strong as Hercules and as good with your bow as your mother. Now you just need to be as wise as your grandfather ha ha ha. What do you know of the gauntlet little one.
Lilith: it's a challenge put on by the king and queen of Olympus to find who will replace them the other gods may not directly join same with any legend they have to have a champion.
Zeus: you are a daughter of Artemis goddess of the hunt don't you see why you can't join you are a legend by birth.
Lilith: I have done nothing to earn the title of legend grandfather and being part human I was allowed to be moms champion so I should be able to have a chance at the title of queen of the gods.
Zeus: you know what you have to do to become queen right?
Lilith: yes.
Zeus: hmm you speak the name of the human who was able to strike me with his first attempted then you tell me that you wish to challenge me
Zeus's eyes glow blue
Zeus: fine you may have what you want you may join the gauntlet
Lilith excitedly: thanks gramps I swear I won't let you down
Lilith celebrates for a bit then asks a question.
Lilith: where do I find Athena?
Zeus: Are you looking for the boy?
Lilith: yes.
Zeus: then I shall not help you girl this is your quest you must find the boy on your own.
Lilith: ok.
Zeus: leaves in a flash of lightning
Lilith: hmm….. well if anyone where to know it would be Hermès. Maybe I'll ask him he is the god of travelers maybe she went somewhere on the mortal plain to find Jay. Where does he usually hang out? I guess I could check his house.
Lilith gets a couple of bags together and heads out before she leaves she grabs an old fur coat and throws it on dad may your spirit guide me from the underworld. She heads towards Hermes letter service. When she gets there, she is greeted by a clerk.
Clerk: hi mam what can I send for you
Lilith: Actually I need to find Hermes is he around?
Clerk: Yes mam he is in the back it'll be 200 drachma to gain counsel with him
Lilith hands over the money and is lead in the back
She sees Hermes flying around sorting mail he flies down to her
Hermes: what may I do for you demi-god.
Lilith: I'm looking for Athena could you tell me where she might be sir.
Hermes: Why don't you use my mail service to send her a letter?
Lilith: I kind of need to meet with her now it's urgent.
Hermes: ok she is on mount Rainer she got locals to build her a temple in the side here are the directions from the nearest town
Lilith: why can't you just send me there you know I'm a royal any way you've sent me all over the world for my training come on.
Hermes: oh girl ask Zeus he told the gods not to help you that this was your journey he thought you might ask where she was and told us all her location but told me specifically I must send you to this town that you must walk from there to the temple here a package from Zeus via Hermes mail you leave it we ship it.
Lilith opens the package it's full of winter gear and a backpack full of supplies
Hermes: I know you and your grandfather have never gotten along, but show the man some heart. He loves you. If you wish to fight in the gauntlet then do so, but if you make it to the end you will have to kill your grandfather you know this right?
Lilith: I know but it's what I've always dreamt of. Being queen if this is what it takes then so be it. I didn't make the rules he did as I'm always reminded by him. I could recite every law made by the gods. So go ahead send me to the village
Lilith grabs Hermes hand and is displaced to just outside the old logging town.
Its midwinter when she arrives the ground covered in snow and the crisp air hits her lungs
Lilith: I love snowy days like this it makes hunting easy some animals don't cover their tracks I should find some food a village this remote should have a need for meats and furs I read in history books that I found during my training that the fur trade was huge
Lilith goes searching for prey she comes upon a fox running after an injured hare the blood making it impossible for the hare to hide she calls forth her bow and hits the fox thru the neck the hare runs and burrows in a patch of snow nearby Lilith feels bad for the little guy and tracks him down without spooking him she uses her superior speed to catch the hare the hare stays calm sensing no threat from her she picks up the fox throws it over her shoulder and takes the hare to a thick tree with enough she shoots an arrow up into the tree vines form a platform for her and the hare she jumps up and pulls out a small pouch with a mortar and pestle she picks a flower from her armor and grinds it she rips of a piece of cloth from her clothes and covers it in the liquid. She wraps the cloth around the hares wound and the hare lays down to rest while the hare rest Lilith goes out to hunt more she comes back in about an hour with three more foxes and a pouch full of berries she hands some to the hare
Lilith: Here you go little guy. Would you like to accompany me on a quest you little cutie.
The hare jumps around excitedly
Lilith: I'll take that as a yes.
She puts on the clothes that Zeus gave her. She heads toward the village to sell the foxes and make certain she's in the right place.
She gets to a small town you can see the end of the town from both ends she goes in to a building called Joe's meats
Joe: hey what brings ya in? I see you've been busy how many days it take you to track all of those
Lilith: one hour.
Joe burst out into laughter
Joe: ha ha ha ha ha so you sellin them or are you going to eat all that yourself I'll give you $5 dollars a pound and 100 for each fur
Lilith: Deal.
Joe: go ahead and put them in the back for now.
She goes into the back room and sees a shrine dedicated towards Athena
Lilith: Hey Joe!
Joe: Yeah?
Lilith: are you one of Athena's followers
Joe now in a stern voice: what's it to ya
Lilith: nothing I'm just looking for her shrine at the top of mount Rainier
Joe: who are you? How do you know of that shrine?
Lilith: I've been tasked by the gods to find Her I have a message that must be delivered in person. Are we on Mount Rainier?
Joe: ya but no one can find the place. Only those trusted by Athena can find the entrance.
Lilith: I'm sure I'll do fine
Joe: why do you say so?
Lilith dons her armor
Lilith: Because I'm a demi-god
Joe bows at her feet she bends down
Lilith: get up there is no need for that I'm a demi-god meaning I'm still human and I've done nothing worthy of praise raise your head sir
Joe stands up
Joe: sorry miss… wait what's your name?
Lilith: Lilith and this is my companion harry
She pulls out the hare from her back pack
Joe: what a cutie. Well Miss Lilith I must get back to work. Here have this it's my map to her temple guard it with your life.
Lilith: Thank you Joe I won't forget your kindness and you can keep the money I don't need it take the foxes to. May Artemis smile upon you?
Lilith leaves and heads towards the temple with her speed it takes the rest of the day to get there when she arrives all she sees is rough stone with a keyhole
Lilith: Now how am I to open this?
She walks closer and hears Athena's voice
Athena:your grandfather told me you'd come. You may enter. Jay anxiously awaits your arrival.
(On the inside)
Jay: how am I to find Lilith? It's not like she's just going to magically walk in here and introduce herself.
Mimi and Athena look at each other and start to laugh

Athena: the fates love to play with mortals
Lilith enters behind jay and doesn't realize who he is. She kneels and says
Lilith: Miss Athena. I'm Lilith I was sent by the fates to find a mortal named Jay.
Jay dumbfounded and shocked can only stare at his food. Athena stands.
Athena: I heard you were on your way boy was that quick.

The whole room goes dark

The darkness goes away and jay reaches his hand out

Lilith: Lilith how are you so strong
Jay: I don't know really I just chose to never give in and love all of the earth's creatures. That's the power in my heart as long as I wish to protect my heart stays strong.
Lilith: really that's how you're so strong
Athena: I sense a lot of will coming from you Lilith, but you lack heart jay may be the perfect one to show you how to tap into your heart.

Athena: we don't have long before the gauntlet it was supposed to be tomorrow but with the entrance of a new champion. Zeus has extended it by three days so let's get to it.
Jay: oh come on I just fought you and won can't I get a break?
Lilith: you fought Athena and won. you. a human won against a god?
Athena: Yes he is a formidable foe and a great ally.

Athena: enough idle chatter let's get to training jay you have plenty of stamina left you can fight for days if you had to.

Lilith flashes back to when Hercules asked her that

She dons her armor jay dons his
Athena: let's go jay don't take it easy on her she is a demi-god she could punch a hole through your chest without any of her champion abilities
Jay gets a worried look on his face then it dissipates into a smile they walk into Athena's sparing room which is now a forest area with a large manor in the middle the two of them walk in and battle commences jay turns invisible and runs through the forest toward the manor
Jay: I have a feeling this place is made to play to both our weaknesses and strengths I'm way better at close range fighting I literally have no range just disorients and invisibility
Lilith: oh crap I've already lost him invisibility are you serious ill just track him down let's see if he was smart enough to cover his tracks
Jay enters the manor and hides Lilith finds his tracks and follows to the manor she stops outside and takes a deep breath pray for me harry she walks inside jay is watching from up the stairs she can't see him one of his shrouds he left in the foyer attacks.Lilith barely dodges and punches the shroud in the face sending it flying through the wall and into the next room she is then attacked by another one from behind this time she backflips over it and her gauntlets stretch out into her bow she shoots a scatter shot at theshroud the bolts brutally pierce the body and the shroud falls on to the ground blood leaking from everywhere armor broken sword gone.
Lilith: oh gods did I kill him she runs over to the body and flips it over
the shroud begins to ooze blood jay reaches out and softly grabs her armor giving it a little tug.
She pulls out some of the medicine she used earlier on harry
Lilith: oh gods this will help Athena Mimi stop the fight he's dying.
(Outside the room watching from a scrying pool)
Athena: what a smart boy he's seeing what her capacity for love and kindness is. She doesn't need to spar she needs to feel the sorrow of loss she needs to be shown pain and overcome it
Shroud jay dies the room is cleared to its original form a large marble room
Lilith sits on her knees crying as she feels the pain of killing to much to bare she loses all focus and her form returns to normal.
Athena: it's okay child if he was strong he would have survived if he were strong, he would have won.
Mimi: how dare you kill my love?
Mimi lays over jay's body crying
Lilith: I'm sorry I didn't mean to I thought he was strong enough I thought he was supposed to have beat you Athena I had no idea I would kill him.

Athena: sure I'll send him a letter requesting his counsel
Athena writes the letter and it disappears hades shows up almost instantly. Hades a buff man in a suit with pale skin.
Hades what do you want Athena I'm one of the three I don't have time to waste but I saw this soul has just entered my domain he's already been made part of the river
Athena: I want nothing it's her who wants to talk
Hades: if it isn't my grandniece what do you have to ask me
Hades eyes turn a deep red Lilith hesitates
Hades: fine if you wish not to speak then I'll just head back to the underworld
Lilith crying: Wait I made a mistake I killed him and I didn't mean to is there any way to reverse it
Hades: shy but when she speaks she gets right to the point look there is only one way to remove a soul from the river you must replace him
Lilith: I have to replace him?
Hades: yes
Lilith sits there on her knees as she thinks over the deal
Hades: I haven't got all day it's you or him
Lilith: take me instead I caused this he is to be the next king you may have my soul for his
Hades stretches out his hand
Hades: once you shake my hand a deals a deal you two will switch places and he will be brought back
Lilith gets up approaches hades looks at jay
Lilith: sorry jay I hope you'll forgive me for protecting you instead
She vanishes and is back in the field where she went to after the fight with Hercules
The fates: so young one your compassion finally shows. your heart has finally grown to the level of your desires
Her armor dissipates her gauntlets to her armor is remade with petrified wooden plates and snakes carved into the mantle the horns now twist to that of a ram and are sturdy and strong her gauntlets separate from her bow and are petrified wood with golden spikes Her boots have the etching of a white hare in them her bow now made of obsidian with a golden bow string
Artemis:you've done it girl you've found your heart now return to the boy and thank him
Lilith: but…..
Lilith wakes up in a bed somewhere in the temple she is naked and can't find her clothes she dons her armor and walks outside the room she sees no one but Harry standing at the end of the hall she runs over to harry and pick him up and hugs him she can hear talking coming from a room to her right
Athena: are you sure you didn't kill her with your antics that was a pretty potent hallucinogen? She could be out for days
Jay: do you not trust your own boon clarity? I know what I'm doing she'll wake up sometime today.
Lilith enters
Lilith: yeah I'm fine I actually want to thank him for his help without him I would still not understand what having heart truly means
She runs over to him and hugs him Mimi's hair starts to hiss they look at each other and get lost in each others eyes for a few seconds
Mimi: alright I see what's going on here you like him don't you
Lilith embarrassed: a no what why would you ask that?
Jay: Mimi calm down she was just thanking me. You have to quit being so jealous all the time or I might just leave you and become Athena's champion

The two walk back into the battle hall it is now a large room with a forest section a city section and a ruined temple section
Jay: you ready?
Lilith: as ready as I've ever been in my whole life.
The two run in opposite directions jay disappears and Lilith shoots a scatter shot. Jay puts a shroud in front of the barrage and continues to run
Jay: shit she's smart but I'm quicker
Lilith punches through the tree jays hiding behind
Jay:range and destructive CQC I just have to outwit her in battle
Lilith looks jay in the eyes as he remains invisible
Lilith: I feel you in front of me show yourself
Jay: lowers his invisibility wow holy shit you're strong. That's why I have to protect you you're a brute and rush in headlong and fist swinging
Lilith: shut up and fight me boy
Jay: that's king to you girl
She throws a punch jay dodges it with ease oh come on you trained with gods an you can't hit me
Lilith: shut up and fight
Jay: why? you can't fight me.it would be unfair.
Lilith screams the area is blown away in a 20 ft. radius.
Jay stands strong through the blast being moved less than an inch by it
Jay: you have an aoe that's pretty awesome so let's see you have a bow with arrows that do different things and you can use melee this seems kind broken who made your move set hopefully you have really bad sense of your surroundings
Lilith: what are you talking about?
She is attacked from behind and gets a cut up here back. He giggles a bit and says
Jay: my move set is totally best against a fighter like you all I have to do is coax you forward and you let all guard of what you can't see down allowing me to leave a shroud and deceive you have power but no technique you trained your entire life with this kind of ability and you have no strategic mind you'll lose every time against me
Athena: Enough boy!!! The girl is of royal blood you can't just speak to her like that there are rules and even mortals such as yourself must abide by them.
Jay:what? you mean i have to treat her like a princess. Lame.
Jaylen reaches his hand out to help her up
Lilith: I don't need the formality or the help
Lilith jumps to her feet and brushes off the two look at each other and think to themselves
in the mind of jay : i end up risking my life for this girl
In the mind of lilith: who does this asshole think he is i will never be looked down upon like that again my heart will never waver again
lilith's eyes turn white and she starts to glow a faint white as she looks around and everyone's faces have changed from pity to confusion she tries to get closer to jay and gets to him instantly.
Jay: oh fuck! what now you can teleport?inst-
Before he can finish speaking he is hit with a barrage of punches each hitting harder than the last.He is left standing dazed and confused. Lilith grabs jay and throws him to the ground.
Jay: your speed is amazing but again you really have no mind for a fight.
Shrouds of jay overwhelm Lillith each striking her with their blades darkness imitates from jays black scales lilith can feel jay in all directions of her.
Lilith: what's going on? How is this possible?
Jay :I think it's about time we end this.
Jays eyes appear before lillith from the darkness she swings to punch them but she goes right through them
Jay from somewhere in the darkness : oh so close. You'll have to try a little harder my dear girl.
She screams letting out a burst of power but nothing happens.she is struck in her side by jays sword she tries to grab it but it dissipates jay continues to strike her till she falls to her knees.the smoke clears and jay stands over her with a smug expression.
Jay:I told you you had no chance but you kept trying now look at you on your knees like a human worshipping their gods
A spear pierce the ground at jay's feet.
Athena: I cannot allow you to speak in such a way to her you dare take that tone with a demigod. Know your place boy.
Jay:I'm only kidding trying to get the girl riled up she won't want to fight anymore if I do this just let me play my mind games Athena it's apart of war you know that.
Lillith: I must thank you jay you have shown me how weak I truly am.
Jay: huh… yeah I didn't mean to be rude I just got a little caught up no hard feelings right.
Jay reaches out his hand to help her up she grabs his wrist and squeezes.

Lilith swings jay around slamming him into anything around she teleports different objects slamming jay as hard as she can. She holds his wrist up and steps on his neck

Jay lets out a strained laugh Lillith snaps his arm out of socket and stomps down incapacitating jay. She lets go of him and takes off her armor. Takes a deep breath her vision gets blurry and she loses function of her legs. She falls to the ground unable to move.
Lillith: poison looks like he was stalling the whole time.
She falls unconscious both are brought face to face with the fates.

They wake up healed and energized both pondering what the fates ment. Both thinking about the other

Athena:finally you rise come along now you must eat before you head to Olympus the journey has only just begun no slacking
Lillith picks up Harry and heads to the dining hall where she finds Mimi mid-bite Mimi pauses with a bit of bread hanging out of her mouth and waves jay sluggishly comes out and passes Lillith she tugs on his sleeve and looks toward the ground

Jay sits down and begins to eat

Jay clinches his hands and gets up to go to her room as he knocks he hears her talking to Harry

Jay leans in to hear better he pushes the door knocking her fur coat to the ground

Jay swings open the door

Lilly: he couldn't hear it even if he was in the room he died not too long ago all I have of him is his fur coat. You'll leave me with nothing as well. You asshole.
Lilly starts to cry. Jays expression slowly leaves his face he looks down at the fur on the ground and picks it up he goes over to her bed sits down and puts it over her shoulders.
Jay: he didn't leave you with nothing. He left you with his warmth and love us humans are fragile and I think he knew that he may not be here now but I'm sure he's always watching always there for you.
Lilly's tears keep streaming down her face as she clutches the fur
Lilly:you want to know why I want to be queen? So I can see him whenever I want. It's not fair! why did he have to get sick?why did he have to leave?why can't he come back? He was everything to me he taught me how to read and write. He shared his favorite stories with me. Then I had to move to Olympus to begin training with mom and couldn't see him anymore the last time I saw him I was 8. I couldn't even be there when he died. I should have been there!
Lilly cries out with more intensity jay hugs her tightly
Jay: I'll make sure to never leave you I'll be there till the end
Lilly doesn't know how or why but she truly feels that he's not lying to her she hugs him back as hard as she can jay lets out a small gasp
Lilly: you promise
Jay straining to get out words:yes but uh could you please not squeeze so tight. You might kill me.
She lets go and they both laugh

Jay: it's ok I'm sorry I was a huge asshole I had no idea what pain you had been feeling. Also umm about getting married.
Lilly pushes him off the bed
Lilly: I'm not that type of girl
Jay: huh.. oh god I didn't mean to talk about that I was just going to say that we should get to know more about each other is all so uh yeah gotta go bye!!
Jay rushes out of the room Lilly sighs and lays down on her bed holding Harry cuddling in the fur.
Lilly: So. that's the new king. He may not be that bad after all
Athena's voice can be heard throughout the shrine
Athena: you get packed and ready Hermès is on his way to gather the champions
The two pack and meet in the dining hall

Athena: I guess she's been practicing

Athena: it was a pleasure Hermès you just make sure the boy gets there no funny Business ok.
Hermès: I owe the boy nothing but since the Lillith is with him I'll make sure they're safe
Hermès grabs Lillith and jay and teleports them both to Olympus. There are groups of people around some dressed in armor some in street clothes but all ready for what comes next.
