Breaking thro' Invincibility
The guilty, the lost piece, and the seeker, Flashback: "So Eladin... before I retire to this life... as you the descendant of those norims that can live centuries... I shall give task on you...
"Seek the strongest, not by your personal interest, but for everyone who is satisfied to their lives and sees their children happy... And make it continue onward... Do, even the worst that you could do... Eladin..."
Eladin remains silent.
To a meeting room, one of Eladin's scholars reports, "I'd read a journal written by an adventurer who ventured in the mystery cavern. He mentioned of a portal that can transport to another world, a world where dragons ruled and the minorities of species worshiped them as god. It mentioned there also, that those uncivilized minor species, their different factions were at war."
"That was just a fable," has disagreed by another scholar. "And how could it be helpful in our slow progress?"
"Do you remembered those ancient stories? That one can slain a dragon can gain immortality?"
"Ah, that's nonsense." And most of the scholars laugh.
"Maybe yes. If we investigated further where that journal's lead, slaying a dragon might be not the answer of immortality but we can try them mixing it with gaile's ability. Who knows about the result? Remember, it mentioned in the journal, that those dragons were worshiped as god."
Eladin remains silent as the conversation goes on.
The Revival of the Dragon, Flashback: As he reaches the place, overbearing by darkness, Eladin asks, So, where is the dragon?
The dragon itself had been long gone. What left is the darkness surrounding this place. Take it while the divine one hasn't change its mind.
Are you telling me, I'm being watch?
Not just him, but every ruler on this place is watching your action. Go ahead. Touch the darkness.
Witnessing his hand goes inside; he sees the darkness surrounds his body. His blood runs fast through his veins. He feels the circulation somehow burning. Eladin yells aloud from the pain and fear. His skin he feels heating. Smokes ascend from his body.
After his long struggle, at the completion of assimilation, his skin turns red. The darkness disappears from the place. Have I become immortal?
Immortal? Don't make me laugh. The number of your years in the living remains. What you receive is the power of the dark dragon. But only a dragon can use it. Now retrace at your path back to your world before the divine one change its decision.
One of his men, an old-age scholar speaks to him, "I have a prophecy about your meeting of your great granddaughter. And about the arrival of the strongest norim in Dandia." His words have made Eladin to think,
I guess, this is it. The success of my long awaited objective. My honored king, your dream is about to come. He speaks, "Continue. I be listening."
"Giving harm to the younger prince, you shall meet Vilyarin full of hatred. The transformation of your body, absorbing the people around the place; the darkness devoid by your consciousness shall birth of the strongest person of Dandia."
"Thank you. Then, I shall assassinate the young prince."
—End of Intro
Black holes emerge in the sky. In them, sharp solid earths are surfacing down. This frightening scene has robbed the hope of every witness—the people of Jelfyr. Some norims kneel down. Others cry. Others smile and accept their belief, their incoming fate.
Their hopelessness, Jaino feels their sadness. Yet, his consciousness remains.
Atop the tower, the dragon roars again. In the sky: falling exit at those black holes, the sharp solid earths, their size increases. In Jaino's thought, My mind, please think what must I do. Please think what must be done. Please, my mind, work please!
...sh*t! I can't let the people die. Kilie, Ritzel, father Zahamara, Judith, everyone... Sh*t. I can't let them die. My mind, please work! His eyes wide open. In the sky, their fullest massive size, the sharp solid earths are about to fall down fast. Jaino points up his black sword at the sky. The force decelerates those catastrophic objects. I can't hold them all. He kneels. At least someone, give me a hand!
A familiar woman's voice speaks, "Do you need our help?" He look at behind. A feeling of relief lightens his burden. He smiles.
Back at him, Criselia smiles. And behind her, Jesifer speaks, "I can blow them away, however their sizes are massive."
"I can destroy them to pieces," has responded by Criselia. "Isn't that enough?"
Jesifer nods back.
"Then, I leave this to you guys." Jaino smiles. And he disappears in the place.
In Jesifer's thought, He's really a medou... "Wait! Where is he going! We are not done here yet!"
"I think, our priority is above us." She clips two fingers and moves them in opposite sideways swiftly — plink. Those massive earths explode and turn to sand.
"Jesifer points her giant blade at the sky. A windstorm pierces across the sand and disappears into the dark clouds. Its remnant, the vortex pushes outwards the sand, raining down outside the kingdom — in the east and west huge forests.
Her action gives hope back to her people, crying yet ignorance about her effort.
Atop the sharp tall tower, where the black dragon roars again and again, Jaino has landed. He rises up his black sword and he swings it down, cleaving the head of the dragon (and has stopped in the monsters thorax) and cleaving the floor of the throne.
The monster recovers. It flaps its wings as it roars. To Jaino, it slams its huge tail, collapsing the floor of the throne. He has evaded and set foot to the other side. The cave in continues all over the floor, Jaino and the black creature fall down into the next floor.
The monster roars as it flaps its wings, destroying the surrounding walls. Into the floor, Jaino stabs his sword for he withstands against the heavy wave pressure. The attack has stopped. The kingdom of Jelfyr comes into view again.
With one step, he moves forward and he swings down his white sword. Following his attack, he swings up his black sword. The dragon has been cleaved in two.
The creature's severed body merges back and recovers again. To Jaino, it breathes darkness. Evading the attack, Jaino sets foot behind that monster. He thinks, The hell with this monster, it's undying. With his stance, he pushes the black sword forward as he dashes swiftly onwards. His attack pierces across the immortal being. Leaving a wide hole at the monster's body, he lands in front of the creature. He turns to see, no lungs, heart, or intestines; rather, a black flame is burning inside its body.
The wide hole of the monster body compresses slowly on its regeneration. What is this monster made of? It's somehow foreign to my knowledge. He follows up his attack. Swinging continuously his swords three times, he then stops and shields the white sword. A claw slams to him and sends him afar in an instantaneous speed. In far distance away from the sharp tall tower, consecutively, he crushes across different buildings.
Outside the northeastern gate of Jelfyr, going away from the wide arena, the gathering people in despair pray for the kingdom's victory against their foe. Among the moving crowd, the man, Jin Kin Do, head of the Karagana tribe, sees Judith. He approaches. "Excuse me. By chance you are Judith?"
Confused, the tomboyish woman answers, "Yes?"
"Ah, good thing that a kinswoman of ours still alive outside our home."
"Our home... what are you talking about?"
"After my men reported to me, they gave me an image about you. You're an activ right?"
"What can you gain of knowing such a thing?"
"No need to be agitated. I have no ill intention. Beside, witnessing this kind of battle, I have to give up. My strength or even your strength can't withstand on protecting Dandia against that kind of creature. Still, we should be grateful we can protect ourselves and help others against some conflicts.
"By the way, I'm Jin Kin Do, head of the Karagana tribe."
His words has made Judith remembers, The Karagana tribe... Jaino told me before about them... She remembers on their teens.
Being amused along by a bit of jealous, Jaino replies, "That's better, but you should find a master."
"Have you know of someone?"
"I know of a bit of information about activ, the Karagana Tribe. But no one knows where they are now. It's better if you hone your skill with yourself. You can become a master someday. We don't know."
Her consciousness recovers as she hears the man again,
"I be your ally when you need my help. Although, the one, fighting to save us all, right now, is far more stronger than us, still our abilities have its place."
Hearing his words, Judith reminisces again, Jaino.
Outside the southwestern gate of Jelfy, among the evacuating crowd, Ritzel meets her mother, aiding her aunt Shaira to walk. Zahamara, Salvan Untalban, and a fat man the fifth exceptional general, those three approaches Taila.
The non-indulgent veteran man, Zahamara, asks, "Please tell us everything you know. By this hour, we cannot be an ignorance. At least, a possibility might come up from us and we can help also."
"I can," has replied by Taila. "Firstly, hear me and agree to my plea."
"A demand in such dire time. Speak."
"My daughter, please teach her how to be a good leader."
"Ah, a small task to ask. I don't mind and we can talk about that later. That's if—we can survive."
Taila puts her hand onto the air levelly on her chest. She swirls her hand. Smokes emit as a mirror begins to exist. It shows the black creature, recovering from its many wounds.
"The hell is that thing," has commented by Zahamara. Salvan Untalban and the fifth exceptional general are speechless.
Back outside the northeastern gate, Olyn Tehbassak is approached by Sammuel Larigan. Sammuel speaks, "Rogue, my mates found Niala. She was blood-bathed when they found her."
With the worried face— "What's happened to her?" has asked by Olyn.
"I've believed you know details further than me. Fear not, she's safe. Besides, the blood doesn't belong to her."
"That's... Thanks goodness. And thank you."
After observing at Olyn's face, he comments, "It's better that you talk to her after her rest. And, don't stress her consciousness. Or else she may undergo trauma."
"I see... Thanks again. I'll see what I can do."
Inside the destroyed building, Jaino stands in pain. Without the force, I could have die. He stretches his arms and body. He walks. Outside the broken wall, he meets Jesifer, wielding a giant blade. He asks, "Where is Criselia?"
"She dropped me here and then left me. She said, she'll be watching from afar. I think, she doesn't want to be near at that monster.
"Hear me instead. Let me fight at your side."
"Anything that you can offer to help?"
In the sharp tall tower, the dragon roars. It flaps it wings as it slowly ascends in the air.
"I can burn everything to ashes," has replied by Jesifer to Jaino.
Cutting his sleeve with the black sword, he frees the piece of cloth, floating slowly down heading to the floor. "Now burn it," has asked by Jaino.
The dragon soars into the sky. Revolving around the dark sphere, it roars and roars. Flapping its huge wings, it stops and remains in the air. It breathes darkness.
Jaino points forward his black sword. The force shields them against the dark flame, dissolving everything in the area to ashes. Jesifer somehow is speechless. "Forget about the piece of cloth. Can you do the same as that?" has asked by Jaino.
Jesifer gulps. "I, I can."
The black dragon roars and roars. Fiercely, it roars. The black sphere emits a wave as it resonances all over the kingdom of Jelfyr. Suddenly, Jesifer frees the giant blade. It slams into the ground. Both hands, she covers her ears. In pain by the deafening sound, she kneels. She cries aloud.
Unharmed by the attack, Jaino thinks, I hope everyone has already evacuated. To Jesifer, he asks, "Hey, what's happening to you? Hey?" Sh*t, when I finally find an option. Then this suddenly happens... I can't lost her...
