Chapter 1 - The Cosmos we Traverse By

N.B

At some point in time...

...

In some point in space...

Beyond this place of pitch-black and nothingness, traverse by a single ship.

Traveling at the half speed of sound, its been like this since trillion of years and continues to move to the direction its have been given to.

From trillion of years trying to accomplish its objective for what its created for and continue to serve the people inside it to the fullest, It has withstand what in path it encountered and continued to work without any maintainance.

Measuring about its length of 45 meter and has a height of 20 meter, same as its width, It has a curve–shape design, designed to move at this outstanding speed.

Inside this ship-like thing, It carries no more than four child put inside their box. Time become meaningless to them as they're in a deep sleep. Nothing is happening inside it and by what I mean 'nothing' time is frozed.

From this point in time, to million of years, finally! We got sign of someone waking up...

"!"

Unfortunately, Only 1 out of 4 of them woke from the box.

That person I called 'one'...was a boy about 12 years of age.

Ending his own endless sleep, he immediately recalled his own name—Vox Populi. He was healthy though during this journey.

Vox has a black natural hair. Has a color white t-shirt dress into him and already has his own small dainty white shoes in his cute little feet.

In this current situation of him, he was immediately bamboozled by questions in his mind.

"Who am I?"

"Why I'm here?"

"Where am I?"

More than that, he knew something was going to happen.

As he made a stroll, he found this ration inside a room-like kitchen that he could eat.

There was no sun to tell which one is day and which one is night to sleep. Though he sleep when the light that comes out of nowhere dims.

With nothing to do, he ocassionally do his wont—sleep, walk, and eat or stare on one of the box; waiting for one of them to wake up.

He also sometimes stare into this cosmos full of nothingness—the twinkling stars that lights up the universe made him smile a little and forget his desolation while his manner has become a lot more stolid as time stretch by.

"I wonder how many sleep I have had"

...

...

...

"!!"

As the shrill-like sound came passing to the ship, Vox sprang to his feet and panicked.

He looked outside the window examining if there was a damage occurred to the ship.

"Wh-...Wh-What was that??" He stuttered as he queried himself.

Was it a hit?

No, but it was the sun's last cry before it exploded a million years ago and took hundreds of years to reach the ship.

But to Vox himself, he feeled it as some kind of premonition to what universe he have entered through.

While examing the out, his mind was filled with utter disbelief when he saw a bunch of somewhat creep-looking creatures swarms the outside.

The unsettling face of the creature, it made breed a face of terror in Vox's face but they're somewhat looks harmless though.

As his eyes followed one of the creatures it lead him to this twinkling dot the ship continues to move into the direction of.

As time passed by, Vox stared at it vigorously with a gleam of enthusiasm in his eyes as the ship got closer and closer, close to see that it's a planet likely similar to earth but has rings.

Paroxysm of delirium made Vox can't stop staring at it til...the unthinkable happens.
