Xie Ming was still in daze because of what she had heard. The word 'MY HUSBAND' was still ringing in her ears.
'Yurin called Siquan her husband. That means that they are... no that is not possible,'
As Xie Ming was fighting with her inner thoughts, she heard a loud noise. As she lifted her head, she saw her father had fallen on a glass table and his forehead was bleeding.
"Father," she shouted and she rushed towards her father.
Father Xie lifted his head and his eyes met hers. Looking at her teary eyes and her pale face, he felt very embarrassed. He didn't know how he would face his daughter after this incident. He started blaming himself for everything that was happening today. If not for him his beloved daughter would've never met the ungrateful Chen Siquan.
....
The Xie family and the Chen family were two influential families of country S. Father Xie and second son of the Chen family, Chen Seini were best friends.
One day when Chen Seini suggested father Xie about marrying Xie Ming and his nephew Chen Siquan, Father Xie did not think twice before agreeing with it as it was beneficial for their business and his daughters future as well.
He still remembered how he had forced Ming who was studying aboard, to come back home and marry Chen Siquan.
Initially she was against the idea of getting married so soon but because of her father's continuous nagging, she had agreed to meet Chen Siquan and date him for a while so that she could understand him to which father Xie had happily agreed.
After meeting Chen Siquan and spending some time with him, Xie Ming found him very interesting and eventually started liking him. He was also very sweet to her and treated her very well. So after dating him for 3 long years, she had finally agreed to marry him.
...
Looking at his beloved daughter's pitiful state, father Xie he lowered his head and said, " I'm sorry Ming, please forgive your father."
Xie Ming was taken aback by her father's apology. Tears uncontrollably started rolling down her cheeks.
Grabbing his hand, she vigorously shook her head, "It's okay dad, don't blame yourself because it's not your fault. I would never blame you for this."
Walking towards them, Yurin chuckled, "Tsk tsk how sad to see my most beloved elder sister and father crying together. Come on let me join you. How nice would it look? I wonder how nice it would feel and look when you both are crying together and I would be laughing at you?"
Ming felt raged when she heard her mocking words. Closing her eyes, she took a deep breath and composed herself.
Glaring at her, Ming hissed, "Don't you dare come near us."
When Yurin took a step back, Ming added, "Why Yurin? Why did you do this? I have never wronged you in any way. I have always loved you and cherished you ? Why did you do this with me, with our family?"
"Are you sure elder sister that you have never wronged me?" Yurin smirked.
Without waiting for Ming's reply, she added, "You have always taken everything away from me. You never gave me anything because you always looked down on me and thought lowly of me. Everyone has always thought highly of you. Everyone thinks that I am no one in comparison to you. You took everything that I deserved. You always got more than you wanted. And I...I never got anything that I wanted. You even got the privilege to see mom during her last times but I never got to see her because dad had sent me away to our aunt's place. After Mom's death you even took Dad away from me. I hate you elder sister I hate you."
Xie Ming was taken aback after hearing her reasoning. She wanted to say something but couldn't find appropriate words to express her feelings over everything that Yurin had said.
As she was busy sorting out her feelings, Yurin snapped again," Father has always loved you more just because you resemble mother more than I do and he has always dotted on you. He always gave you more importance over everything. Even I wanted to go to abroad for my studies just like you but father never gave me a chance, he never let me go."
After hearing this Father Xie got up and held Yurin's hand, " No Yurin this is not true, father loves both of you equally. Father didn't want to send you aboard because back then you used to fall sick very often so I was worried about you and wanted to keep you by my side. Don't blame your elder sister like this."
"No you are lying father, I know everything happened because of her. That is why.. that is why I decided to take everything back at once. I wanted her to feel the pain that I have felt for so many years. I wanted to make her life a living hell and this is why I planned everything with the help of my husband."
