Days in their house were best described as empty now.
A house occupied by 2 humans and AIs doing basic chores. This was basically the majority of the community now.
Virtually more crowded.
"Did you hunt solo all the time?"
"Ah yes! I found an easter egg. A unique one is called 'Bluerosed Fox' that dropped an item called 'Zekial Prism'. It is an item that gathered any dead spirit. Basically, it will be filled by the spirits of the dead monsters I gave the finishing blow to."
"That's it?"
"Yes, for now, it said that it still needs more spirits before I can see the actual effect."
"Interesting."
"How about you?"
"Can I boast now?"
"Wait, lemme prepare my heart."
Viro took a deep breath and confirmed with a nod.
With a giggle, his brother ready to make a score.
"I found 2."
"Two!?"
Nod.
"Okay, he has found a new class, it should not be that surprising."
Viro mumbled quietly. He was minimizing his insecurity.
"Admit it?"
"Ugh yes, 1 to 1 now. Tell me how could that possibly happen? Pure luck?"
"Nah.. big brain." He said that while pointing his head.
Viro, with his finger on his chin, he used his facial muscle to the fullest. The frown showed his dedication.
"Don't need to try that hard. I will explain it anyway."
"Yeah, give up."
"1 to 2?"
"No way! It's still the same series!"
With an annoying shrug, he started to explain his two unique encounters.
"At the very first encounter? It is luck! It's all luck!"
Arie ignored that, and continue to explain his 2-member party. He told him about Avia the appraiser and 'the hole' he successfully exploited.
"So you are.. successfully scouting one person?"
"Not sure. There are puzzles scattered over his background. But, I will ask him the next time we meet."
"Yeah, looks like an interesting person."
"Well yeah, he sure does. Anyway, 'Dreamcatcher Amulet' is the second item we got. It is supposed to be his, but he said that I should keep it for the time being."
"Suspicious.."
"Well, the item has been used anyway."
"One use item?"
"Nope, it is just that it becomes untradeable once it is used. So the amulet lost its value for a civilian like him."
Arie shared a brief final moment from his first attempt at challenging the Goblin dungeon.
With the help of the unique item, he got other kills from the hobgoblins.
"How about the 4th and so on? Easy?"
Arie was just moving on after finishing the story.
"Nope, it needs a certain degree of 'chemistry'. Or maybe experience? My party is not that newb, but lacks coordination."
"Yeah, random party after all."
"But, isn't it sucks? I can't play with my friend. This tutorial village holds a lot of potentials."
"Well, the 2 days given might be the best chance for us to gather resources before the actual game."
"Hmm, unlimited grinding works?"
"At least, the dungeon isn't finished yet, right? That should suffice for the community. And just remember that it is still an MMORPG."
Scrolling through the forum, gather information, hunting endlessly. Arie has done those things for the past 5 years.
The only reason to make him sane was the game itself.
Endless exploration, regular updates, generous reward. WoS with its breakthrough was still flawless for the fans.
The veteran and newbie watching their dedicated channel were one of them.
"Honestly, I want to join you three."
Arie who heard the honest thought of his little brother was pondering for quite a while.
"Are you curious about our dream goal?"
Viro's eyes lit up. He was sitting on his knees now. On this sofa they were sitting on, he vigorously nodding his head.
"We, as the guild leader. Have their respective members. A big alliance that will shake up the world."
"That.is.awesome!"
"We have 2 options and that's why we discussed it. Gather first, coop together till we or someone unlock the guild, or split from the beginning. Scouting. And this tutorial village has forced us to choose the second option."
Viro was listening attentively. He used his brain too, but couldn't put out his opinion that easily. And so, Arie continued with the speech.
"We can still choose to gather once we reach the mainland. Basically, we can always improvised."
"Then, then. We should form a party together. You know, the 4 guild leader as an all-star best!"
"I know. Unfortunately, I've found this Avia guy."
"Ah, I see."
"Just make sure to remember, our instinct has been forged through the hellish environment from the previous game. Just improve yourself. Don't bother the risks and fails."
"I know. This Lil' bro here has a 'golden hand' as his middle name."
"And don't mind too hard about the scouting or everything. Just play. Strong people-"
"Attracts stronger people."
They spent an hour talking. As they were both already at Lvl 10, the current Lvl cap, they didn't need to push that hard.
Arie was just waiting for 'the appraiser' to login. They choose to logout after they wiped out and took a rest.
They basically could play the game all day. They confirmed each other's schedule beforehand.
They both somehow have similarities. A full-time gamer, or at least someone who earns money through the virtual community.
Viro himself wasn't that tied to the current party. He could always be leveling by himself. He and Ensne wouldn't be able to challenge the Goblin Cavern alone, but at least, he could improve his battle quality through the open area.
"I think it's time for me to login. He has called me."
"Sure, I will watch some TV and increase my knowledge through the forum. I want to accompany Silv for a chat too. He might be lonely, isn't he?"
And with that, Arie went to the 'coffin' and login once more.
He had some plans to do with Avia regarding civilian stuff. At the current state of the game, he was the most resourceless player.
The specific weapon for his class wasn't there yet. At least till 'The Blacksmith Foreln' completed the registration.
