Time passed quickly until the rest of the family arrived. Both of Justin's parents enjoyed spending time talking to their son's girlfriend and hearing more in depth versions of what he had been up to lately (since he wasn't the best at staying in touch) and complimented her cooking.
Justin already knew his parents liked her from the first time they met but it was comforting nonetheless. After all, she would be a part of their family eventually.
"Your parents' relationship is so cute," Emily said wistfully as they got ready for bed the night before Easter. "They don't look alike but they're so in sync it's almost like they're twins."
Justin shrugged. It was nothing new to him.
"They've been together a long time and their jobs are really similar. I don't think I've ever actually seen them disagree on anything more serious than food. My dad doesn't like spicy things but my mom loves them."
