"Justin," a soft voice called.
He opened his eyes groggily and a familiar blurry view filled his field of vision. He would know the vague outline of those curls anywhere.
Justin smiled even though he couldn't move, still trapped by baby and cats alike. "Hey, Em. How was work?"
"Pretty good. We didn't have to do as many retakes today as we did yesterday, which was definitely good news. The director was in a much better mood because of it and we were able to go home earlier than usual. What have you been up to today?" Emily asked.
She brought over his glasses from where he had left them and placed them gently on his face before kissing him and sitting down on the ground so their faces were on about the same level. He felt most of his weariness melt away at the no-longer-blurry sight of her beautiful smile.
