Chapter 27 - Avocado

The next morning, Athena woke up and the first thing she did was to open her bag and check her laptop.

She checked the business news and the stock market. To find any changes that had occurred in the market of trades. But to her disappointment there had not been any news about the information or the rise in the Indus company.

She was kind of unsure of the information she had gotten from her dreams and the unfamiliar memory strand.

Therefore she did not spend all of the money she had gotten from the mysterious guy.

She soon her the hustle and noise from outside the door and knew her sister was soon going to open the door.

As she had predicted, Helen walked ran through the room and jumped on the bed. She jumped near the left side of the bed, whereas Athena was sitting up on the right side of the bed.

"Wake up- Get up," Helen said in a loud voice.

"Shouldn't I am be waking you up as I am older and should be more responsible," Athena said in a slightly raspy voice.

"Yup, I know it is early but you should wake up. Yesterday you did not manage to have a proper breakfast." Helen said with concern. She sounded like an elder telling off a child.

"Hmm. If you let me go and get ready." Athena really did not want to wake up early. She knew that she could at least get 30 minutes of extra sleep. But she did not want to argue with her sister. She also knew her sister will continue to disturb unless she got up.

While Athena went to the bathroom, to do her morning routine. Helen also walked towards her room to change into her uniform.

Athena took a last look at her laptop before putting it back into her bag; she along with her bag went towards the kitchen area.

The kitchen was located right in front of the dining table room. So it was convenient to bring food from the kitchen straight to the dining table. The kitchen had a kitchen island and around the kitchen island were counters. The gas top was was directly behind the kitchen island.

Athena searched through the cupboards and found herself a container. Athena found herself some leftover for her lunch at school, all the leftovers were placed in the fridge in case someone wanted them.

Nobody would want to eat leftovers, so it was usually thrown away after a day.

"Why to waste food," she mumbled as she packed her lunch. She put her lunch away in her school bag, that she had carried from her room to the kitchen.

As she went towards the dining room she found a maid putting down breakfast on the table. Bread, butter, avocado on toast.

She saw Helen waiting for her to start breakfast.

They had woken up earlier than yesterday and the sisters had plenty of time leisurely eat their breakfast.

After both of them had their fill they quickly went to the car and found the Steward waiting for them inside the car.

"Yay, grandpa is going to drop off us at school" Helen yelled cheerfully.

'This guy is way too nice, it is freezing out here and he was probably waiting for her for at least half an hour.' thought Athena.

They drove to school with Helen mostly speaking to Helen and the steward. It was good that Helen was there inside the car, it helped liven up the atmosphere inside the car. If she wasn't things would have definitely turned out awkward.

Reaching the school Helen bid steward a goodbye, whereas Athena just gave a polite nod.

Helen reluctantly went on to her class after hearing the bell ring. She really did not want to go but thinking about how much she learned yesterday and how she could help her friend out with the problem.

Sara had always gotten help from her elder brother, so she was always rubbing it on her face how much her siblings loved her. How fun it was to have a friend that is around your age to talk to.

No, she also had a lovely sister and she also was able to get help from her.

Helen mood only became more and more cheerful after thinking about how she also had an elder sister. She was going to try her best to rub it in Sara's face.

Helen went into her classroom to find Sara who was seated on the table right next to here. They were seated together with another two girls who they didn't really talk to.

Helen took a deep breath and said to herself. " OK, time to switch on the show-off mode."

With that, she sat on her seat and started talking to Sara about her sister; how her sister was so smart, how she helped her with all the homework. How amazing it was to have an elder sister.

They were even some part than were more exaggerated than needed.

In reply, Sara only pouted and rolled her eyes at her best friends behaviour.

Honestly, it was not that good having an elder brother who always restricted you're from doing things, always scolded you. But she always lied and specifically said the few positives to Helen about having a sibling.

Now she was in this troublesome situation.
