"How far are they?" Haru asked.
"They went out of town it seems." Yamamoto replied.
"Damn it! If I was with her..." Haru said in rage.
"No, there is nothing you can do in that position." Itsuki blatantly shot down the conversation.
"What...?" Haru asked.
"By the looks of it, Keita already have the situation under control, although it takes more than just a teenager to pull off negotiations like that..." Itsuki said in awe.
"How..." Haru asked.
"With my gadgets of course!" Itsuki said proudly.
"If it's just the gadgets... Maybe I still stand a chance..." Haru said.
"No can do. You need to think calmly." Itsuki said.
"You...!" Haru quickly noticed his own flaws.
"They said something spicy too... I wished I could have heard Himeko being so honest like that in person." Itsuki said.
"But she's always honest, you know?" Haru said.
"But in front of her father's men including me, she did a lot of faking." Itsuki said.
"Perhaps what she needed is friends..." Itsuki said.
"..." Yamamoto kept silent, smiling in acknowledgement.
"We're here!" The kidnappers said as they reached their destination, the place seems like an old factory of some sorts, an abandoned one to be exact. Keita escorted Himeko out of the van, surrounded by the kidnappers to prevent them from escaping.
"Stay here, and we promise not to harm any of you." One of the kidnappers said.
"Fine by me." Keita sat down. Himeko is hesitant since the floor looked wet and dirty.
"Get her a chair." Keita said.
"O-oh, right..." One of the kidnapper's lackeys complied. The chair he brought over is not fancy, at least Himeko is willing to sit on it.
"If you want to retrieve your beloved daughter... Bring us the money!" The kidnapper's leader had finished making a call, presumably to Himeko's father.
"Well, it's a success! We'll be loaded after this!" The kidnappers celebrated.
"Bunch of filthy adults..." Himeko said in a disgusted tone.
"What did you say?!" The kidnapper's leader approached Himeko.
"Stay right there." Keita stood in between the kidnapper and Himeko.
"Out of my way!" The kidnapper slapped Keita and he lost his balance that he fell.
"Keita-kun!" Himeko called.
"Oh no! They're in trouble!" Itsuki said after they heard the conversation.
"We're almost there, hang tight." Yamamoto said as he speeds up.
"Whoa!!!" Haru and Ayumi screamed as the car speeds up on the highway.
"I've heard from my boys, you're using a knife to make yourself like a boss huh? I'll teach you who's the boss!" The leader attempts to hit Keita, but Keita dodged.
"You little...!" Keita keeps dodging until his back hits a wall.
"You have nowhere to run now!" The leader said angrily.
"Is that so...?" Keita tilted his head and asked.
"Huh?!" Both Himeko and the leader is confused by his words.
"Help has arrived." Keita said as they heard a loud car engine noise slowly filling in the atmosphere.
"Wait, all of us are here... Which means whoever is outside... Has nothing to do with us?!" The lackeys started panicking.
"We need to block the do-" As one of the lackeys attempted to block the door, someone kicked the door hard that it hits the lackey's face that caused him to faint.
"Oh sorry, I'm here to work." Yamamoto said.
"Work?! There is no business to do with you!" The lackeys exclaimed.
"Then I'll bring the business to you!" Yamamoto started attacking them, bruising them one by one.
"This guy... He means business..." One of the lackeys said before he faints.
"Don't come over here! I beg you!" The leader curls up in front of Keita. It seems like they both had a little action while Yamamoto is busy dealing with the lackeys.
"Seems like you are both fine huh?" Yamamoto said. Himeko is there looking at Keita in awe, while Keita sighed.
"Keitaaaaa!" Ayumi broke down in tears grabbing Keita's arms.
"Uh... Ayumi... Please stop crying..." Keita said.
"No way! I'm so glad you're safe!" Ayumi continued crying.
"Guess there is no way Keita couldn't notice Ayumi's feelings if she behaved this way... Keita is so dense..." Itsuki thought.
"Keita-kun... Thank you for today..." Himeko said blushingly.
"That face...! Is the face of a maiden in love!" Itsuki identified.
"... Haru-kun, is there anything you want to tell me?" Himeko asked.
"... I'm glad you're fine." Haru looked away in guilt.
"You're lying." Himeko said.
"Let's break up... This is what I wanted to convey today... But this happened. I'm not even sure what I should do now." Haru said.
"I see. I'm going home." Himeko walked to Yamamoto.
"We'll call the police, so both you and the young man over there will need to talk to the police later." Yamamoto said.
"I understand." Himeko said.
"You there, I'll drop you off at the station." Yamamoto said to Haru.
"Thank you." Haru said.
"Keita-kun! You were so cool back then! You just went kapow! Bam! Kablam! Then you beat the bad guy there!" Himeko said.
"She's so excited huh?" Yamamoto thought.
"What?! Keita can fight?!" Ayumi is surprised.
"Just a little..." Keita said.
"That is not just little! I think you can just become my personal bodyguard like this!" Himeko exclaimed.
"..." Haru listened quietly, awaiting his separation with his girlfriend, there is nothing he can do due to the agreement he had with Yamaguchi. They travelled all the way back to the station where Yamamoto promised to drop him off there.
"Thank you for giving me a ride, Yamamoto-san." Haru bowed with gratitude.
"Well, we're talking about a place where barely any public transportation would go, of course I have to give you a ride!" Yamamoto said carefreely.
"I see... Itsuki, I have something to talk with you." Haru said to Itsuki.
"Sure, let's talk somewhere nearby." Itsuki gets off from the car.
"Yamamoto-san, I need to talk to Yamaguchi about the incident, please wait for me. Of course, all of you are going." Itsuki said to both Keita and Ayumi.
"U-us?!" Ayumi is surprised.
"Well, you both helped me in this. At least I should give you something in return." Itsuki smiled.
"Alright, let's talk. Shall we?" Itsuki closed the car door, allowing Haru to lead the way.
