Synopsis
Disclaimer: Massive thanks to chonnie who helped make the cover, however neither me or chonnie owns the cover and all rights go to the rightful owner (chonnie used photo editing to make the cover) (A/N: This is the same cultivation ranking as my other novel but its contents will be rather different and it's not connected to that world in anyway, it's just that I couldn't think up of a new cultivation and used the previous one. If you haven't read my other novel I recommend you to read it - totally not being shameless and asking other people to read my novel) Note: Since I'm also writing another novel, I won't be updating this one until I stockpile some chapters which may take who knows how long so if you see that there aren't many chapters it isn't because I've dropped the novel or anything. IRONIC UPDATE: DROPPED Living life to the fullest is what people say... This is my way of living life to the fullest, doing whatever randomly without an aim in life, to do whatever comes to mind that interests me, I enjoy this, swinging around like the waves at sea, flowing freely like the wind, drifting around like a fallen leaf whilst doing my duty of getting good grades to make my family proud. But who knew that I would be taken away from my carefree world and into a wuxia world which I only thought existed in my fantasies... WITH A D*MN SADISTIC SYSTEM. (Note: Novel will be in third person) A/N: This is my original work, I am open to criticism

Chapter 1 - Meeting Of The Mood Swinger And Sadistic System

"Hey ShaSha, wanna go shopping on our way home?" Chen MingYue inquired as they walked.

"Nah, did you forget YueYue? We have 3 tests tomorrow" Ranted Ye MeiSha.

"Come on, as if you need to revise, you'll pass anyways unlike me who've already given up and is just gonna flip it and rely on luck" Chen MingYue walked in front of Ye MeiSha then turned around to face her and shrugged.

"Yeah, yeah, you say that but you pass anyways"

"Yeah, just bouts, last time I was 3 marks off from failing, if I fail, I'll get a good spanking!"

"5 marks" Ye MeiSha corrected.

"Don't walk backwards or you'll bump into a lamppost" Ye MeiSha warned.

Bang!

"OUCH!"

"See" Ye MeiSha mocked.

"Are you a fortune-teller or something?" Chen MingYue rubbed her head pitifully.

"No, it's just that I have some common sense"

"Oh - wait are you saying that I have no common sense?"

"Did you hear me say that?"

"No"

"Then no" Ye MeiSha rolled her eyes as she ridiculed her friend.

Chen MingYue was so infuriated that she felt like coughing up blood, but she had gotten used to her friends' antics already.

Though, it was precisely due to those antics coupled with her constantly fluctuating EQ that was unrealistically low most of the time and her mood swinging/unstable personality that she only has a single friend.

Her friend didn't mean anything bad, it was just that her personality was naturally unlikable, so unlikable in fact that if they weren't childhood friends she would've disowned her by now.

Added to the fact that she has high grades, it wasn't too surprising that her friend was in such a situation, jealousy is one of humanity's characteristics after all, it was born from our competitiveness and will to be better than others in order to survive.

But what's strange is that her friend doesn't seem to care about the hostility thrown at her, normally, humans would instinctively care about others' opinions about them but this weirdo of a friend of hers doesn't care.

After a long contemplation Chen MingYue concluded that this friend of hers wasn't normal, not that there was anything wrong about that.

Sometimes, she would even admire or envy that trait of her friend's.

.....

10pm

"*Yawn* Finally finished!" Although she knew staying up late was bad but Ye MeiSha still decided to stay up to complete some practice exam questions to prepare herself for the tests the next day.

She didn't find much point in these tests that focused on pure memorization but it was what she regarded as her duty to do good in to make her family proud, no matter where around the world, including China, people place high importance on grades after all, though that would make sense if those memorization tests were actually serving their intended purpose.

*Growl*

Hearing her stomach growl reminded her that she still needed to eat, she had only taken a quick shower when she got back to her apartment before going to study.

College life was hard but at least she did not have to balance work with studying thanks to her scholarship.

Ye MeiSha headed to the fridge only to find it virtually empty.

'Oh, this is why I felt something was off when YueYue mentioned shopping'

She was meant to go grocery shopping today, it seems that her mind had been too preoccupied with revising for the test.

*Growl*

She hadn't eaten anything since lunch break causing her stomach to be crying for food.

'The 24hr convenience store should still be open' (A/N: It's called '24hr' for a reason)

Ye MeiSha changed into a black hoodie and a pair of indigo sweatpants then headed out to the convenience store around the corner from her apartment, she prefers dark colors since they are more calming in her opinion, at least more calming than neon ones.

However, just as she left her apartment, she slipped on a banana peel accidentally due to the darkness hindering her vision.

BANG! Oof!

The banana peel strikes again!

In a undetectable space, a loli dressed in a black and white goth lolita uniform stood in front of Ye MeiSha.

"Nice to meet you host, I am the SS System short for Super Support System, I will help guide you through your new life"

"Where am I?" She asked in confusion.

"Greetings host, you had yeeted yourself out of that world by wonderfully... *drum roll*... slipping on a banana peel!"

"Oh, what a pity" Contrary to the system's expectations she didn't have much of an reaction and only nonchalantly commented.

"Aren't you sad?"

"Meh, a bit, it's not like being sad will make you bring me back to life. Now be supportive and answer my question please" Though she was slightly dejected that she had stayed up to revise for nothing and that she'll never see her family and friend again.

It's not that she dislikes her family and friend, in actuality she cares about them deeply but it's just that her EQ had just fluctuated to an all time low, so she didn't feel much emotion towards the information that was revealed to her and she couldn't do anything to change the facts no matter how emotional she was.

Not even excitement considering that she reads webnovels as a hobby, she just felt numb and apathetic.

What life brings to her, she'll take, it's not like she has a choice, like a leaf, if the wind blows north then she'll go north, if the wind blows south then she'll go south.
