Everyone back in the hospital room anxiously awaits for news but when they see Alec shift into the room holding a bleeding and unconscious Maya, their hearts nearly stop in fear. Dr. Williams quickly runs over and helps Alec place Maya down on the clean bed.
Alec glances over at the two incubators to see two sleeping babies. His heart was instantly at ease knowing that they were okay but Dr. Williams' next words have him panicking. "I told her she could die!! She's so damn stubborn!"
The nurses push Alec back in order to help Dr. Williams insert an IV and to hook Maya up to the heart monitor. Alec steps back with his fists clenched but he refuses to leave. Dr. Williams pulls out a few syringes and injects them into the IV line before checking her heart rate again.
