I rewind the video and watch it all over again, seeing if I had missed anything but unfortunately, I hadn't. I think back to the moment I turned to the window... I had heard something. I swipe the screen away, bringing back the view of the City.
What had I heard? No matter how much I think about it, I can't remember. I turn and walk to the bedroom to get dressed. "I'm going to stop by Dr. Evens... see if the others are showing any signs of weird behavior," I say disappearing into the bedroom.
Alec and Chip look at each other and slightly nod. I walk back into the room with both of them silently waiting for me. "I have several meetings today so I can't stay with you... so Chip's gonna be your shadow today... just to make sure nothing bad happens. If anything does happen, call me. Both of you." Alec says pulling me into a comforting hug.
