I freeze and lean back to look at Alec. "They're Alphas? Huh... I didn't know but I don't think they'll cause problems. I really like them." I say looking into his pitch-black eyes. He gives me a dark smirk and says "I guess you didn't notice because you're an Alpha as well but if you like them, I'll give them the benefit of the doubt."
I'm an Alpha? Huh... "What brought you here so late at night?" I ask looking back to him. He releases me and says "I just wanted to check up on you and Chip. When are you coming back to the City?"
"I'm planning to head back to the City tomorrow morning, why?" I ask frowning. He reaches out and gently pushes a strand of hair behind my ear as he says "Another wave is happening tomorrow. I want you in the City so I know you'll be safe."
