The two men look to each other with uncertainty before nodding. "We don't have enough fuel to make it all the way so we will follow you. My name is Jason and his name is Blake." I give them a nod and say "My name's Maya and this is Chip. Shoot him and I will kill you both."
They nod and look at Chip with unease. "Turn your jeep off and follow me," I say as I step over the guard rails on the highway. Blake quickly runs back and turns the jeep off before coming back. Chip easily jumps over the railing and follows behind me.
Jason and Blake look uneasy but they follow closely behind. As I walk further away from the highway the more uneasy they become. They probably thought that I was going to take them to a safe building or base.
