Chip puffs out his chest in pride as he says "I finally got to take a bite out of that bastard!" I smile at Chip as Alec looks me over from head to toe. I turn back to Alec and give him a knowing smile as I say "I'm completely fine but... I thought Remi was dead."
Alec freezes then looks to me with dark knowing eyes. "When did you find out? Also, how did you get the collar off?" I give him a dark smirk before walking to the kitchen. I really wanted some orange juice.
"I found out a few days ago and it was Leo who took the collar off," I say pouring myself a glass of juice. Alec sighs and runs a hand through his dark hair as he walks over. "It's not like I was trying to hide it from you in a bad way... I just didn't want to worry you. You had seemed so relaxed and calm lately... I didn't want to ruin that... I really liked seeing that side of you."
