Alec quickly helps me change out of my wet cold clothes and into a large dry shirt. "Y..yyyour bbleeding." I say with chattering teeth. He grabs a towel and wipes the blood away to reveal a perfectly fine chest. The only thing you could see was the slight redness where the knife used to be.
"I'm fine Kitten, Let's get you in bed," Alec says scooping me up and placing me in the bed. As soon as I'm in Chip jumps up and lays across my legs, instantly warming me up. I reach down and gently stroke Chip. His loud purr has me in a state of pure bliss.
I'm missed this so much... As soon as I close my eyes my thoughts go back to my family and Leo. My eyes slowly open as Alec crawls in next to me. He wraps his arms around me and pulls me close "Why were you wet? What happened with the Council?" He asks as Chip continues to purr.
