After swimming until I can't feel anything else I reach for my powers and smile when I feel them. They're back! I've never had them run out on me before but I can only assume it has something to do with them cutting me off in the Underworld.
It feels like my body is empty... like I need to recharge or something. I think of the one place I want to be... home. I feel my power slowly build and suddenly I'm on cold, hard ground. Wind whips around me dropping my already low body heat.
Why am I outside? I look up to find myself right outside of the house. I made it... I guess I didn't have enough juice to make it all the way but I'll take it. I push up off the ground still covered in snow and begin making my way in.
