"Lenient?"

I grit my teeth and push against Leo to sit up. "Let. Me. Go." I say through gritted teeth. Leo hesitates but in the end, he releases me. I stand on shaky legs and say "Your rules no longer apply. There are others with the same power as mine."
"Enough!"
"Silence!"
"Outrageous!"
Another wave of pain hits me bringing me to my knees.
"Submit to us and we will forgive your transgressions!" They say in unison. I feel my anger rising as I look to the three of them. I grit my teeth and smirk. They want to keep me here by using the law as an excuse but when I call them on it they try to beat me into submission?
"Hah... I've been very patient with your world and it's "rules"." I say reaching for my powers. They're there... I can feel them but they feel just out of reach. Leo looks on in worry as the three standing looks on in irritation.
