I spent the next few hours building an incubator box that would completely seal for the unknown egg. I didn't want the smell to draw in any more unwanted beast. Once everything was set up I set it to the right temperature and pulled up the surveillance. The one who placed the egg in here had to have done it right before we got back.
Of course... the video feed is corrupted. I was starting to think that Remi had something to do with this... that or the heat had destroyed the feed. I shut down the computer and begin helping with the cleanup. For the next several hours the house was cleaned, repaired, and put back into working order.
Once the windows are replaced I work on setting up the computer system again. Once everything was up and running I pulled up the corrupted video feed and began fixing it. "Are you planning on staying up all night? You need to get some rest." Alec says placing a soft kiss on my temple.
