He stops to look at me in question as my smile grows. As soon as the symbol is complete a strong golden light covers me like a large golden bubble. Remi's face loses all color as he rushes to me but it's too late. He hits the golden shield making a loud bang.
His eyes flash in anger and fear as he hits the golden shield several times. I begin writing the next symbol in a peaceful calm. When Remi realizes he can't break the shield he tries talking to me. "Maya, look at me. Listen to me... you're just angry... this will pass okay? Open the shield... Maya!"
I pause for a second and look at him with calm eyes. Remi's panic begins to grow as he mistakes my calm as shock. "Maya! Listen to me... whatever you're doing isn't worth it. Just take a deep breath and calm down." Remi says in a pleading voice. I really wish I could tear him to pieces.
