I look at him in disbelief... He smiles and steps back saying "I need to check on a few things. I'll be back later with your food." Remi disappears leaving me alone in a dirty room. I sigh and walk back over to the wall.
I raise my hand to place it back on the wall but stop short when I see the soft glow was slightly flickering. Wait... what? I lean in closer to get a better look. It was wavering... I step back and begin looking around the room.
It nearly takes an hour before I find it. My Corner! My lovely corner! I knew I liked that corner... I walk over and crouch down next to it with hope flaring in my heart. The place where both walls meet, towards the bottom, was a crack! It's small but I couldn't be happier to see it. The shaking had created a weak spot in the room...
