"Why did you do it?" I ask in a low shaky voice. Remi watches me with his dark green eyes as he says "Our world was trash. It needed an awakening, it needed this. I'm sick and tired of the disgusting humans that walked around the old world acting as if they owned everything!"
"People like us were hiding in the shadows when we should have been at the top. We are the rightful rulers of this new world as the weak will continue to die off." Remi says touching my lower lip. I jerk my head to the side as I glare at him with disgust.
His dark smile comes back as he releases my hands. I quickly crawl back to my corner as I sit up and glare at him. It's really the only thing I can do at the moment... "Release me... Keeping me in here will not change the way I think about you. You're the reason for this new hell and the only thing I feel for you is the urge to kill." I say trying to stay tough.
