Once I know she's fallen back into a deeper sleep I gentle trace my finger down her arm. She frowns and subconsciously rubs her arm, no doubt thinking it's the worms. I don't blame her... I was impressed at how well she's handled everything so far.
Nearly dying had shaken her as well as me... The thought of losing her had my insides turning cold. I look at her long legs and fight the urge to touch her. I clench my hand and pull her closer, tucking her close to my chest.
I close my eyes and take a deep breath... I won't take advantage of her anymore... I'll wait for her to wake up for the rest.

I have no idea how long I slept for but I woke up feeling much better. I snuggle closer, liking the warmth... I just wanted to sleep a little longer. Suddenly I feel a hand rub my back and for some reason, I even think it's Alec at first but suddenly my brain clears.
