"That..." I look around in confusion as Alec begins leading me again. Once we're in the City Hall once again Alec shifts us to the office where Nero and the others wait. "What was that?" Nero asks seeing Alec and I enter.
Alec looks to me with a frown and I shake my head saying "We don't have earthquakes here... but that doesn't mean we can't... I mean... two worlds are coming together so maybe this is a side effect?" I say not even convincing myself.
Everyone in the room looks around with doubt but no one has a better answer so they quickly shift back to the subject at hand. "We have men out looking for supplies now, they should be back the day after tomorrow but you should know this can't be a long term solution," Logan says with concern.
Alec sighs and nods his head saying "I'm well aware of that Logan. We are only doing this for now so we can find a better solution later. Do you have what I asked for?" Ace steps forward and places a map of the City on the table.
