The black vein-like stuff was all over the walls and the floor making me grit my teeth. I have a bad feeling about this... I quickly pull out the map and look for the labs. Once I found the right way I turn left and start down the long dark hallway.
As we pass each door I look at the signs next to them. When I find the right door I come to a stop and look up and down the dark hallway. I frown when I see a security keypad on the door. Chip pushes me to the side with his nose and places his large paw on the keypad.
The keypad makes a beeping noise and the door lock clicks over. I grab the doorknob and push the door open. As the door opens the lights in the large room slowly begin coming to life but what I see has me freezing.
Several labs are sectioned off by glass walls making every lab room visible. All the lab rooms look completely overtaken by the black goo. It was all over the walls, the glass walls, and the ceilings as well as the floors.
