I look at Alec then sigh... "Now that you mention it, I feel like things aren't adding up." Alec doesn't release my hand but instead laces his fingers through mine as he leads me to the living room. I look around the well-designed room before sitting next to Alec on the couch.
"Start from the beginning," Alec says pulling me close. I walk through everything but I don't go into details. Alec frowns as he listens. "So you've only been gone for two weeks..." Alec says deep in thought. I nod my head and say "But according to you, I've been gone for three months. The only thing I can think of is that time moves differently in that world."
