"Alec?" I ask trying to push away but he wouldn't let go. Only after a few minutes and me shivering from the cold did he finally seem to snap out of... well whatever this was. He pulls me back looking at me from head to toe with a frown.
"Are you hurt?" He asks in a low husky voice full of raw emotion making my chest tighten. I shake my head and watch when he freezes upon seeing my eyes. That's right... they're golden now. He looks confused but he quickly scoops me up and begins carrying me.
"Alec... Alec, I can walk!" I say trying to wiggle lose but he just tightens his grip saying "Behave." Again his voice is low and raw making me freeze. What was wrong with him? Did something happen that I wasn't aware of? I look over to see Chip following with a bored look. Bored and pissed.
