I rest my head on Chip's back as I soak in his warm body temperature. This was definitely better but I felt bad for Chip. "Are you sure you're okay? When you were all metal and plastic I wouldn't have to worry..." Chip snorts and says "You're extremely light Maya, Don't look down on my strength."
I smile and nuzzle his soft fur. He was so soft and warm... I have no idea how long we stayed that way but I had unknowingly fallen asleep. "We made it Maya," Chip says bringing me out of the light sleep. Chip comes to a stop as I slowly sit up and slide off.
I stretch and look at the sun. It was almost gone meaning it took a lot longer coming down while carrying me. I reach over and stroke Chip saying "Thank you Chip. Let's see if anyone is still in the shop." We both walk over but when we reach the front we stop.
