Chip comes out of the temple with my bag in his mouth. I reach down and grab it before stapping it to my back. I look at my torn tank top and sigh... it's better than nothing. I look to the rising red sun and squint.
I can already feel the heat from the damn thing. "Let's hurry, I don't like the heat." The Crawler nods and says "Yes Mistress, please follow me and be careful. Many monsters are around the area trying to get through." I frown and pick up my pace.
"When you say monsters... you're talking about the ones who are no longer sane?" I ask as I follow behind the Crawler. He quickly nods and says "Correct. They are no longer sane and just seek out to kill and destroy." This time I nod my head in understanding.
Even though the creatures that have been singing my praises lately are creepy they can still talk... they understand when spoken to but the monsters seem to be completely different. "Will they make getting through the door difficult?" I ask climbing up the steep cliff.
