AHH!!! Why not anybody else? Why me? I kept questioning, but nothing could be done because I had submitted my form, the cheque had been encashed by the School. Nothing could be done...!!
Just 5 days I told myself. I have to tolerate Alec for just 5 days during the trip and then I can live happily ever after.
"Yeah, why didn't I think of it before?", my mind said to my conscience sarcastically.
How I wish, avoiding that Big Piece of JERK would be that easy.

4 Days Left: Students still thinking how to convince parents to give them mobiles for the trips 😥
3 Days Left: The Countdown begins on everybody's status 😜
2 Days Left: Group Calls to discuss what all fun things they'd do 😌
1 Day Left: Knots in the stomach and insomnia 😴
On The Day Of The Trip: In the evening, other students were waving goodbye to their parents.
Meanwhile, I stood with my friends and chatted along. We took pictures, and we were deciding who would go sit with whom in the train.
So far, I was avoiding Alec really well. I don't like his attitude and he doesn't like me too. Well, that doesn't make him look cool but it makes him look like a jerk. From the time he started behaving rudely, I started hating him. But it doesn't matter now, because I don't want to ruin my present or future because of a unpleasant past.
We were then asked to assemble at the Reception of the school and form lines. I took out my phone and called my mom and told her that we were about to leave and I would call her next when we stop at some place for dinner. We got into the bus to leave for Arlington. I was really excited for the trip then again the only person who can ruin it yelled my name. He walked over to my seat and looked at me.
He took his phone, placed it over his ears and said, "Yes! Jason, you say? Oh! Somebody in your neighborhood needs help? Can you hear it Mother Teresa aka Penelope? They need your help."
AHH!! He started with that again. Just when I thought I could tolerate him, I burst out like a balloon and an argument started.
I thought that the other students would come in to stop the fight but instead they were watching us as they said, "Once more!! Keep fighting, we're recording."
Like, seriously dude?!? It's really tough to handle that guy already and these people were making it even harder for me. No matter how much I dislike this kind of people, I have to stop thinking about them because this trip is not about them. I came to this trip to get away from all of my troubles for once.
Our argument stopped when we caught our Class Teacher staring right at us. During the journey I realized, that my friend sitting beside me had fallen asleep, and we still had a long way to go. I looked behind and almost everyone was asleep except for Alec who was talking to someone on the phone. Thank God! He was distracted and wasn't planning to irritate me again. I sat quietly and I didn't realize when I fell asleep.
When I woke up, the first face I saw was of Lara who was clicking pictures of me sleeping. She started with her weird way of laughing which made me laugh too. We played music on our way and danced all along the journey. We had a nice time. In the meantime, I became friends with others as well.
Lara, Sarah, Garcia and I were ROOMIES. All of us got to our room, explored it and settled in. We came outside after changing our clothes to have breakfast. We took a table and started talking about random topics but my whole attention was diverted when Alec and his group took the table just next to us.
"Calm down!", I said to myself.
I somehow felt like he just couldn't ignore me for once. Can't he just avoid me like I am trying to avoid him. Can't he see that? Then again, he is Alec Ryder, so he went on with teasing me again.
"You two argue all the time as if you guys are couples!!", Garcia exclaimed.
"Noooo Wayyyyy! Watch your mouth, girl!", we both said.
Saying the same sentence at the same time made me laugh and seeing me laugh, he laughed too. Then after seeing everyone looking at us, we stopped. All the students had finished the lunch. They had already headed back to their respective rooms. I was heading back too when I found Daniel near the door.We were really good friends as we were in the same class since 2nd. I walked towards him as he didn't look well. I felt like I should talk to him.
"What's up Daniel?", I asked.
"Nothing.", he replied.
"Come on! I am your friend. Let it all out."
"Can we talk at a different place?"
"Sure."
We walked towards the staircase in the corner and sat down as Daniel talked.
"There's a girl that I like.", he said.
"I guess this much detail is enough to get to know her address.", I said sarcastically.
"I am not joking. We've been really good friends in the past. It has been a real long time. I want to confess my feelings for her."
"That's quick and bold. Well, good for you. You are a great guy and any girl would be lucky to have you. Go get her!"
"Really?"
"Yeah! It's too late. I guess we should head back before everybody leaves for the Rodeo."
"You are right. It is late. Bye. I'll talk to you later. Thanks for the pep talk though."
"You're always welcome. Bye."
After having a quick chat with Daniel, I went straight back to my room. For the first time, Daniel opened up to me like this. I just hope it goes well with the girl stuff.
When I returned, the girls were getting ready as we were about to go to a Rodeo. We all came out as we were discussing important things.
"I am telling you that no power puff girl is better than Buttercup!", Garcia exclaimed.
"No way! Bubbles is so cute. She is the best.", Lara said.
"Guys, you gotta stop it now. We just discussed that nobody is better than Oggy.", Sarah explained.
"How did Oggy get into this discussion when my question was 'When are the final-term exams starting?'", I asked.
There was an awkward silence. Thank God! For once, they all kept their mouth shut.
The Rodeo was near our hotel, so we took Horse Carts which were supposed to be a part of the trip experience. We later stopped at a place for us to have lunch. We had our lunch. I felt like ice-cream, so I asked our teacher and went to the nearby vendor where I saw Jason hanging out with his friend. I realized that he might be a meany guy with me but his friends love his company. How can a person be so different with two people. Well, others might think he's nice but I don't, so I should stop thinking he's nice at all and should go and have a Popsicle.
After having lunch, we left for the Rodeo.
At the Rodeo, we were observing which player would manage to ride the Wildest Bull of Texas longer. Suddenly, I felt like someone called me, so I searched here and there when I found Alec looking at me.
"Why are you starting at me?", I asked.
"I am not staring. I am trying to figure out whether you look more like an Ape or a Pelican.", he replied.
"You are crazy, you know that right?", I said as I giggled.
"YOU LOOK CUTE WHEN YOU SMILE, YOU SHOULD DO THAT MORE OFTEN...!!! 😶😶
