I was a banker. Y'know? One of those evil money lending bastards, My life wasn't a fun one or even a good one, I had no wife, no children or even a dog to keep me company. The light of my life was dim as at always had been that night, but it wouldn't stay dim for very long. I had just decided to head home when it happened, as my colleague had just gone home I was working the front desk although this wasn't a position I enjoyed considering my professional prowess, I often found myself here in the final hours of the day. As I looked up at the clock beside me I noticed a group of 5 young men had entered the bank and walked towards me, it was fifty minutes past six almost time for me too leave and go home to my empty house, it may have been empty but it was a very nice house. 'Hello there, how can I help you?' I asked plainly still focused on the time, 'Yeah, the cash machine outside isn't working properly, wondering if you could get me some cash out' I looked over to him and smiled, he was a tall man wearing a purple suit and tie.
'Of course, card please.' He reached into his pocket and pulled out a blue card which had a small piece of paper clipped to it he lifted up his hand and gave me the card and paper. I looked at the paper confused, one of the men laughed, 'Hurry up then.' I unravelled the piece of paper and it read, 'All of the money, we are armed.' Horrified I took a step back the tall man leaned towards the counter and opened his suit jacket, in his pocket I noticed the handle of a handgun. He smiled. I didn't know what to do, we had been trained for this situation but I was frozen then my co-worker Susan entered the bank and said 'Hey why are you still here your off duty go home I can take it from here.' Oh yeah off duty I remembered I grabbed my phone and keys and pushed them into my pocket. 'Gentlemen' I said nervously as I walked past the men and towards the door. I heard a bang and then everything was black.
