Zhi Ruo and Howin dashed off, leaving the club and everyone in it behind. Howin had worked with Tadashi long enough to know he would have had a driver pick them up from the airport to bring him here. "That means I won't have to call a cab," Howin laughed.
They quickly reached Tadashi's car and the driver instantly recognized Howin and he obediently hopped out to open the door for her and her friend. Once the driver was back inside the car he was given instructions on where to go.
"Tadashi won't mind that I steal the car if it's to take Zhi Ruo home, right?" Her usual wicked smile spread on her face as she laughed to herself as they drove off.
That night Howin and Zhi danced for hours in the Zen gardens of the Natria Oaks resort and spa.
After all, now that they had a driver why not head back the lavish resort instead of a hotel.
The zen garden at the resort was breathtaking at night.
The garden was a man-made forest of beautiful plants, flowers, and trees decorated with dazzling twinkle lights. The lights were reflected in the man-made fish pond that wrapped around the garden. Colorful large fish happily swam around mesmerizing anyone who looked.
Howin requested dance music to be played over the intercom and Zhi and Howin kicked off their shoes and just danced.
Howin took many breaks for drinks and Zhi couldn't help but start to think of how Howin reminded her of Tsunade, a character from one of her favorite animes, Naruto. Zhi quickly swore to herself she wouldn't allow Howin to go anywhere near a gambling hall. The resemblances of them were too similar and Zhi felt the outcome could be disastrous if Howin were to follow in Tsunade's path.
Other than that Zhi was enjoying herself. She finally stopped worrying. For the last two weeks, she had been pampered and treated like a princess. Tomorrow she would have to leave that all behind but tonight she would enjoy herself.
For the first time in a long time, Zhi wasn't worried abouther father, Fang Mi or her stepmother. She wasn't worried about money or her real job and she definitely wasn't worrying Tadashi.
Nobody could touch her here.
Zhi twirled off a small bridge that went over the fish pond. She daintily landed in an open walkway where there were beautifully engraved benches sitting tall looking over majestic trees with large white flowers.
When Howin reached Zhi, she couldn't help but watch as the silver-haired beauty in a rose gold dress danced around. "Boss sure picked a rare flower amongst the meadows of weeds, didn't he?"
Unlike Zhi, Howin had a lot to think about. Howin felt warm as she thought about Minzhe singing and dancing earlier. He was much sexier than that idol guy, Jin Hyun. Minzhe's voice, his eyes, his body, they were all so perfect. Howin had always had a crush on Minzhe.
Working side by side with him drove her nuts but the rare occasion when he goes full Mr. Min were the days she lived for.
Mr. min was a personality Minzhe took when he first started working undercover. He was in charge of becoming an idol that could attract the attention of a top manager that specialized with young talent. The manager was rumored to be apart of a sex trafficking scandal and the Crane academy had to find out if it was real.
The crane academy assigned Tadashi, Howin, and Minzhe to the job. This was the first assignment that they had ever worked together on. Later they would meet Bobo and complete the team but on that assignment, Howin had fallen in love. Seeing Minzhe become the dazzling k pop star Mr.Min again was the best thing that could have ever have happened tonight. It's only a year from now when the contract with the Crane academy would become obsolete and then they could all start their own lives. Marry who they want. Do what we want. Go where they want.
Howin dreamed of the day Tadashi's promised future would come true. A future at his company Mamoru.
Tadashi promised Bobo to be head of security for the entire company and director of all bodyguards for the company's clients. Tadashi promised Howin a position as the top paid manager of the company. Tadashi also promised Minzhe he could be the idol he was born to be. The idol he should have been all those years ago on their first mission. Together they would build the life that they fantasized about for years.
Howin looked back to Zhi. The seedling she had planted had indeed blossomed. This barely budding sprout will one day carry our company on her back and I'll be there to help her carry the burden.
The night ended and the two were soon on a plane back home.
A car and driver were waiting for them, organized by Tadashi.
Zhi was dropped off at home first and Zhi couldn't help but rush inside. She wanted a hot shower and then it was laptop time.
All of Zhi's high tech computer equipment was currently back in her office. It was definitely time to head back there and see how the boys were doing on their projects. That company was the only way she could fix all of her problems in life. It was time to make sure it was running smoothly.
An hour later Zhi was sitting on her bed in fresh pajamas stretched out and busily typing on her laptop. She was checking all of her accounts. There were a few of her video games that needed attention. A few of her in-game allies were upset with her disappearance. Zhi was quick to settle things and then she checked on her other accounts and was shocked that there was drama with her usually quite acting career. Zhi was confused with the number of new followers she had. Comments littered her inbox.
She was surprised to see there were pictures of her at the Hakkacabana club with Jin Hyun and another picture with her and Tadashi. Comment numbers continued to grow as she read them. "This explains the craziness at the night club. That Jin Hyun is causing me a lot of trouble." There was a moment where she considered the idol to be talented but after being compared to Tadashi and Minzhe last night he was completely unimpressive. Zhi considered writing to him to explain her feelings towards him but decided against it.
Zhi couldn't help but to go back and touch the screen were her and Tadashi were together. He is so handsome.
Zhi continued to read and looked at all of the pictures of her at the strip and at the boutique shop. There was also a video of Howin holding off a hostile group of reporters in front of the very hospital she had been at two weeks ago.
Zhi spent an hour reading the comments when suddenly she heard her front door open. "What the hell?" Zhi walked out of her room to see the handsome Tadashi Gao calmly strolling in.
