Chapter 1 - Prologue

In an unfamiliar highway that is covered with these healthy tall trees, there's a black Mazda FD RX7 3rd Generation parked in the middle of the road. In front of the car, there's a woman standing with her gun pointing at Hamish.

"Thank you for everything," she said while trying her best not to show her tears from him. Hamish smiled and softly nodded that makes the woman completely lost her battle of keeping her brave look. She let her tears flow in her soft cheeks.

[Kill him.] The woman heard from her wireless earphone.

She fixed her position, ready to shoot Hamish. She took a deep breath before everything else.

"Until my last breath..." Hamish said while putting his lonely smile, "You will always be my angel, my red rose, and my queen. I love you until the very end."

The woman asked, "Then, can you embrace me with my thorns?"

Hamish slowly walked towards the woman and as he reached her gun, he holds the trigger and looked directly to her deep, blue eyes, "I can."

The woman softened her grip to her gun as their skin touched. Hamish smiled again but she can see the pain in it, "As long as you won't let me go when you see me bleeding." And as he said that, he pointed his gun right in front of his heart and pushed the trigger from his position.

For her, he represents love while she represents betrayal. But little did she know, it was the opposite.
