Aadvika changed into the hospital gown and by the time she finished changing Dr. Bhuvan came along with another nurse who was already carrying all the instruments required for the procedure
"Shall we start" he asked her as she sat on the bed preparing herself so that they can start the procedures
"Yeah, you can" Aadvika told him and nurse handed him the anaesthesia according to the procedure but he told her that it is not required
"It is already a painful procedure to begin with and without anaesthesia it will pain even more and you cannot move even a bit for the whole time, can you handle it" he asked her as he know that if he were to place the needle in wrong place then she will be in pain which might not be bearable by her
"It's alright you can start now I will not move till the procedure is completed" Aadvika assured him as she already prepared for the anticipated pain which might be nothing to her compared to the pain she felt in the past
Soon he started with the procedure by rubbing some liquid on her back while she sat at the edge of the bed leaning on the table with her back to the doctor so that he can have better access to the lumber bones on her lower back
After cleaning the area with a sterilizing agent, he started to insert a thin, hollow needle between two of her vertebrae into the thecal sac. The movement he inserted Aadvika started to feel the grating pain on her back as she held the table a little tight so as to not move.
After placing the needle, he collected a small amount of cerebrospinal fluid into a test tubes and after collecting the substance he removed the needle and bandaged the place as he sent the sample for lab to run the tests
The whole procedure took them nearly 45 minutes and after completing the whole procedure he told Aadvika to lie down flat for two to three hours without moving while telling the nurse to give her some fluids from time to time before leaving to check on other patients.

After resting for around two hours, she woke up with a phone call from Ananya who urged her to come fast as they need to start before it gets too late.
Sighing to herself Aadvika got up and went to change her clothes and to pack her things so that she can start and by the time she thought that she can leave Dr. Bhuvan came to see her as she got to know that she was leaving
"I know you are a doctor and there is no need for me to say all these instructions but please be in the laying position as much as you can and take huge number of fluids and if you feel numbness or pain even after three days, come and visit me again" he instructed her all the necessary precautions which she need to take
"Alright I will follow all the precautions Dr. Bhuvan thank you once again" Aadvika told him for hiding all her information
"It's my duty but I think you need the support from your family in this situation don't hide anything from them" he suggested her as he really felt worried about her condition
"I will try Doctor but I need time to tell them" Aadvika told him as she took her leave

Outside Ananya had already packed her things and was waiting for her in the car by the time Aadvika came outside and the driver opened the back door the movement he saw her coming Aadvika sat in the car and saw Ananya sleeping soundly while leaning towards the window
"Young miss played till evening so she might have been felt tired as she slept the movement she sat inside" driver told her as he started the car and Aadvika simply nodded her head without saying anything
She quietly took Ananya and made her sleep in a comfortable position while laying her head in her lap as she snuggled more towards Aadvika
Soon Aadvika also felt sleepy as the raid is too boring and she felt little tired with whole day of events
After what felt like minutes Aadvika opened her eyes as she felt someone lifting her and she felt panicked for a second only to find the familiar face infront of her eyes
"It's alright, go back to sleep" Vihaan told her as he took her inside the house while carrying

Few minutes back
Just as the driver arrived and stopped the car infront of the house Vihaan just came back from work as well and went to open the door only to find Ananya trying to wake the sleeping beauty
"It's alright Ananya let her get some rest I will take her to her room" he told her went to lift her without disturbing her sleep while Ananya got down from other side
Even though he was being very gentle to not disturb her Aadvika still woke up from her sleep as she felt someone touching her body and she felt a sting of pain as he held very near to where the needle was injected
"Get some more sleep I will take you to your room" Vihaan told her again after seeing her not going back to sleep and kept staring at him with a frown
"Put me down I can walk on my own" Aadvika told him after coming to her senses and observed her surroundings
"It's alright, you are looking pale, did something happened at hospital" he asked her not listening to her as he took her inside and towards her room
"I think I tired myself too much with work" Aadvika diverted the topic with a sigh
