"Hello, Aadvi, how is the first day on campus? Made any new friends? Has anyone troubled you? Is everything okay in the hostel? Have you had your dinner what about your medi…" just as he was about to continue asking more question Aadvika stopped him in middle
"Bhai (1) ask one question at a time if you keep asking me how should I answer your questions"
Before he could speak again, she continued to answer his questions
"It was nice, made friends with my roommates they are friendly, everyone tried to avoid me so till now I faced no trouble in the campus and had my dinner and took my medicines on time" after speaking she took a deep breath as she asked him "anything more you want to know"
"Nothing more than that if you had any trouble or anything you need my help ask me, I will arrange it to you"
"I know don't worry I am not a kid for you to monitor me each and every day" she tried to change the topic immediately as she knows on which diversion this topic will lead to if she continued as she spoke
"by the way do you know how popular you were in the campus you even had a huge fan base and even my roommate is a fan of yours she admires you a lot…no I think she is crazy about you" Aadvika laughed as she thought about Emily's reaction if one day Dakshith stands in front of her
"Is it that funny for you to laugh so hard, by the way how are your roommates are they treating you well or should I arrange you another room"
"I know that my roommates are hen picked by you so that I don't face any problem while staying here then why show concern again" Aadvika knew her brother very well and she know how sensitive he will feel when it comes to her
Like that they spoke about an hour before she ended the conversation as Dakshith called her to inform that he was leaving for business trip for few days and to call him if she faces any issues in the campus
By the time Aadvika finished her call and came inside the room it was already 11:00pm and Anupama was still immersed herself in books without the care about the world around her
After looking at her, Aadvika signed to herself as she thought about the whole day and her weird roommates where one is like a chatterbox who talks nonstop and another person who treats her words more precious than gold.
After taking a deep breath Aadvika decided to get some sleep and after setting alarm in her phone she lied to get sleep but in deep slumber she was her brows frowned as she clinched her bedsheet hard enough to tear the fabric and there was a layer of sweat formed on her body as she kept struggling to break out of the sufferings and she suddenly opened her eyes as she sat on her bed abruptly while taking deep breaths and looking around her surroundings.
After adjusting to her surroundings and coming back to the realisation she took her mobile to see the time and it was still around midnight and as she couldn't get enough sleep she stood and walked towards the balcony as she looked into the abyss of night with no destination to concentrate on.
She just kept staring at the night sky as she drafted into her own thoughts her eyes showing no life in them and her face void of emotions as if a beautiful sculpture had been placed on the balcony for people to admire its beauty.
Just then a hand was placed on her shoulders, breaking her frame of thoughts as Aadvika turned to look at the person who disturbed her.
"Would you like to have some water first?" Anupama told her as she gave her a glass of water leading her to the one of the chairs arranged in the balcony.
"thanks" she took the water glass from Anupama as she sat on the chairs opposite to her as she placed the glass on the table after taking few sips from it "I am sorry if I disturbed you with your studies"
"No, it's not a big deal" Anupama told her as she sat on her chair looking leisurely at the night sky surrounding her with a book in her hand
"Are you not feeling sleepy, I mean it is already late at night and you are still looking at your book" Aadvika asked her as she pointed towards the book in her hands
"No, I'm used to it reading till late at night" Anupama told her as a matter of fact as she placed the book in her hands on the side of the table looking at Aadvika with a little complicated expression as if hesitating whether to ask her or not
"I know what you want to know it's just a nightmare" Aadvika signed to herself as she looked at the girl in front of her again as she turned to look at the girl sleeping soundly on the bed inside the room thinking about what she thought before
"I know what you are thinking that how such two different personalities became friends right" Anupama asked her as she looked at where Aadvika is looking towards and she also knew that Aadvika what to change the topic and don't want to talk more about her nightmares
"I was just curious I mean…" even before Aadvika could continue Anupama completed her sentence
"how two girls be so close when one was a chatterbox who speaks nonstop and other who cherishes her words like gold, yeah I heard it a lot in these few days of time"
"don't take offensive I was just curious" Aadvika tried to explain thinking that she might have said something which she shouldn't say
