After the carriage has travelled for half a day, Jurian looks over at where Marguerite is.
Sleeping peacefully, her mouth slightly open with saliva on her cheek, she is peacefully asleep. Jurian chuckles at her sleeping face and adjusts the baby in her arm to make sure she doesn't crush her.
Quietly, he leaves the carriage and goes to see what the driver is doing. He bypasses the guards and sees the driver talking to a carrier, seemingly discussing the price for carrying all his merchandise inside the train.
Once they separate, Jurian stalks and follows the shadow of the man until he is isolated between the carriage and the train. Looking left and right, he makes sure no one can see him or what he is doing before coming out of the shadows.
He creeps behind the driver and directly puts a knife to his neck while holding his mouth to muffle his screams. The man screams and begs until tears appear on his face. Suddenly, Jurian is hit with a pang of guilt.
