She walks to the tree with small but assured steps, poised and straight. She doesn't bother to look around to see if anyone is there to see her, let them watch, her mind is filled with much grander things than the worries of what others might think of her.
She bends down and stretches her fingers towards the soft, fluffy white cotton on the flowers near the tree.
It feels warm to the touch, and the smell is marvellous. She brings it closer to her nose and sniffs with her eyes closed. A particle flies of and she sneezes, blowing it all away. Now it looks as if it is snowing around her. Like a newborn child, she gapes at the crystals with her eyes open wide.
She doesn't understand why no one is willing to approach this tree, and she especially doesn't know why she has only seen this beautiful scenery around here, yet no one has ever bothered to stop for a second and admire the sight. Surely this cannot be poisonous, so what could the reason be?
