King Armel takes Marguerite's hand in his and leads her outside the palace through the back. The guards nod respectfully without getting on their knees, understanding that Armel is trying to be undercover at the moment.
Marguerite holds her hat tightly so that it doesn't get blown away by the wind. What a nice sunny weather outside today.
Armel walks with her to a less crowded place of the capital. He enjoys watching Marguerite's eyes sparkle at every turn, looking around at all the different gadgets and toys sold by vendors.
He usually disdains to even look at these cheap things, considering them to be garbage. But for some reason, looking at Marguerite's shiny eyes, the toys don't seem so useless anymore. Though he still wouldn't buy them.
He wants to buy her a gift. But so far nothing has seemed worthy enough. But it's alright, they have the whole day and night together.
