Some elements like silicon, boron, nickel, vanadium are probably needed by mammals also, but in far smaller doses. Bromine is used abundantly by some animals from the lower organisms, and also in eosinophils( high amount of white blood cells) in humans. Bromine is considered necessary to collagen IV synthesis in humans. Fluorine is used by a number of plants to manufacture toxins but in humans, it only functions as a local hardening agent in tooth enamel and does not play any essential biological role
So, the average body of an adult human weighing 70 Kg contains about 7×1027 atoms and contains at least detectable traces of 60 chemical elements and 29 of these elements are thought to play an active positive role in life and health in humans.
The relative amounts of each element may vary in the individual due to the differences in the proportion of fat, muscle and bone that make up the body. Persons who are more fat will have a higher proportion of carbon and a lower proportion of most other elements. The adult human body averages ~53% water ( 48 ±6% for females and 58 ±8% water for males). This figure varies due to age, gender, and adipose. Water is ~11% hydrogen by mass but ~67% hydrogen by atomic per cent, and these numbers along with the complementary % numbers for oxygen in water, are the largest contributors to overall mass and atomic composition figures. Because of water content, the human body contains more oxygen by mass than any other element, but more hydrogen by atom-fraction than any element. Most of the elements needed for life are relatively common in the Earth's crust. Aluminium, the third most common element in the Earth's crust (after oxygen and silicon), serves no function in living cells but is harmful in large amounts.
Lilly rarely went home. She had found a cave where she had set up equipment to do a reverse time machine which would reverse his atoms to give him back his body. She has full confidence that she will achieve her goal one day. She was working on this theory and spending all her time in the hidden cave doing experiments. She was a scientist too and had studied molecular biology which is a branch of biology that deals with the structure and function of the macromolecules (e.g. proteins and nucleic acids) which are essential to life. She had also studied about nanotrites, those tiny, molecular "robots" which injected into a host organism is capable of enhancing or suppressing a wide range of biological functions.
She had taken the sample of hair from her father's clothes at home. From his DNA she would work her way to bring him back to life by extracting his atoms from the air and reassembling them into a body. His Orb was always with her.
Lilly was happy to meet the group that had come to their Utopia like world from the above city. She was happy to meet the huge number of Orbs and Mono too who was a scientist like herself. All the Orbs were crowding around her and the Off-white Orb of Neil, her father, who was their colleague. The Orbs were all white with white light but the Orb of Neil was off white. This was perhaps due to the trauma he had undergone when he was changed into Neil atoms.
When the Orbs had finished their meeting dance, Mono spoke to her.
"Lilly, how come you did not turn into a statue when the Orbs used their hypnotisers?"
"My workplace is insulated against your or anyone's hypnotiser apparatus. So, when the Orbs froze everyone in all the towns it did not affect me," she explained. "This gadget that is being used by the Orbs is also with me, as my father gave it to me. I have already replenished the crystals in my hypnotising apparatus."
"The crystals used in the ones being carried by the Orbs will finish soon. You have some pending tasks in Town M, so you need to replenish the crystals in your apparatus as it has been used in all the Towns now," she added further.
"I do not mean any harm to anyone and I am glad that my father's colleagues in all the town had been liberated from the huge brain where they had been made to serve even after their death."
"I am also happy that the political prisoners and the scientists have been released from jails and sent home in all the towns. "
She turned toward Mono and said, "I am willing to help you if you could help me with the reversal experiment which is almost at the last stage of the trial.
"Please follow me to see my workplace." Saying this she led them to the tunnel that was facing the opposite side to the tunnel that led into the town.
"This tunnel will lead you to the cave outside like the one where you camped at the vicinity of Town M.," she said. "It is just a 7 minutes walk."
This tunnel was on the same pattern and seemed to be identical to the one they had taken while exploring the tunnel when they found Mono. All the students were comparing and they even found the few steps going up.
"These tunnels are made in all the towns but all of them do not lead directly into the Time experiment cave. The tunnel to the Time experiment cave is hidden by a rock-like curtain. It is only in Town M that the curtain had been left open."
Looking at Mono, Lilly said," You left the curtain open deliberately, didn't you?"
"Yes I did, but it was because I wanted to meet the people from the cities above, talk to them, help them and also get to know about their life etc."
"I know I did wrong but it seems instead of my helping them, they helped me, actually, all of us."
"I think you are right, we thought we had created a civilization that was beyond petty things and look what we achieved while living in isolation for the last 250 years? It is pathetic," she responded.
"Slowly we have become like what we never wanted to become."Mono mused.
Just then Sherpa interrupted. He said, "It is human to make mistakes, but we should learn from our mistakes and try to become better human beings."
