From the very start, it looked like the Dragon Clan Leader was planning to stand at the very front of the battlefield, ready to sacrifice himself and his clan to eliminate the threat of the Demons and Corrupted. Since his actions had unknowingly accelerated their advent, he believed that this was the price he had to pay.
'This is not how this plan works.'
However, I naturally couldn't let such a thing happen after deciding to bet everything myself. If my plan were to work, then the combatants on our side had to be assigned in a thoughtful manner!
The only right choice was to have him remain behind, overseeing the stronghold in case someone slipped in through the air or if we were pushed back before we could even resist. Still, the main purpose of that was for him to act whenever he deemed it necessary to intervene.
