Roger started to felt a bit wary with his Tristan action. Ever since the last time, he was hugged by him, Tristan has been watching him every now and then, then give him a weird stare giving him goosebump all over.
He didn't know if Tristan had a weird plan are scheming something behind his back. All he knew was that he needed to be careful with the man.
"Roger."
Roger carefully watched Tristan as the latter gives him the food on his plates.
He didn't understand why the supposed to be busy man staying today with him, and having lunch.
He peered at the meat Tristan gave.
Tristan gave him a sweet smile. "Come on, and eat." He spoke in a voice full of pampering making Roger bit both his lips.
He didn't know what this man was planning, but he should just be careful. He slices the meat and eats a small piece. The taste burst through his mouth as the barbeque flavor kissed his taste buds, but Roger didn't show any reaction that Tristan hoping to see.
The child was still too rigid and stiff. He felt that rather than the child being opened to him, he felt that this child raised his defense more. He didn't know how to start the questioning if this continues.
Tristan was worried that someone else would do the interviewing with the child and might harm him in the process.
The two eat, where Tristan was watching.
Meanwhile, Marco who was not allowed to meet up with his rival, Roger kept on throwing a tantrum.
His father made a promise to him to bring him to the barracks but he was brought home, making him pout.
On Roger's side...
The soldiers kept on glimpsing at the father and child duo while snickering.
Roger didn't care, while the other focus on the child.
This was the scene Justine saw making him twitch. He never thought that Tristan was like an idiot. He was scaring the child rather than getting what they need.
The people who saw him, sit straight while Justine took his food and sat where the duo was.
"Hello, Roger." Smiled Justine.
"Commander!" Tristan saluted on Justine who only nodded at him.
Roger peered only at Justine who smiling at him like an old fox.
"How are the barracks? Have you adjusted?"
Roger nodded his head.
"Don't be ashamed to tell me if there are people who bullied you."
Roger frown then nodded.
"Oh yeah, kid. Do you want to come with me this afternoon?"
Roger stared at Justine, and saw in his peripheral vision the stiffness of Tristan, making him have a conclusion in his heart.
He thinks deeply if he will take the bait or not, but he also wanted information about that organization. He still wants to give them the payback they gave him.
Besides that, if things went the worst, he can just kill them.
Roger smirk that surprised Tristan and made Justine turned wary with him, but that smirk was also fast gone.
Justine felt something amiss with the child, but he only showed him a smile as if he was not affected.
"Sure," Roger spoke, making Tristan's eyes widened, and Justine's eyes slit but then continue his mask.
"Then I'll meet you after you finished your lunch-"
"I am done. We can go." Roger interject.
Justine raised his vigilance with the child. "Okay."
But Tristan who had been in between would not just gonna sit down and do nothing. "Commander-" Justine glared at Tristan making the word disagreement won't come out from his voice. In the end, he said between his gritted teeth. "I also want to come."
"Oh, but as much as I remember Colonel Weigner, you still have a lot of reports needed to do."
Tristan being called in his last name shut up. Then viewed Roger for a while as his eyes went back to his commander. "Then keep my son safe." He said saying, don't harm Roger.
"Don't worry I won't." He tapped his shoulder. He then said to Roger who had finished his food. "Let's go kid."
Roger left his seat as he came with Justine.
The two entered the elevator but what caught Roger's attention was rather one number was input on the elevator, it was a code. 14390
Then Justine let his body scanned, only the time the elevator move.
Roger closed his eyes to feel the movement of the elevator. He was surprised to notice that the elevator didn't move the typical way, but after a few down it moved to the side.
"Dizzy?" Asked Justine.
Roger opened his eyes but he still sensing his surrounding. He was about to say no, but change it. "A bit."
Justine smiled at him. "Don't worry we will be in there after a while."
Roger nodded his head.
He closed his eyes to memorized the flow of the elevator and felt it move up a bit then side then down.
He clenched his fist, as the sound of the floor indicating they were on the 13th basement floor.
"Let's go." Called out Justine who already step out.
Roger sense his blood flow first before opening his eyes once more and followed Justine who was beaming at him.
He didn't know what would happen, but he had the hunched, and that hunch was hope for him to kill.
They stopped in front of a big glass room, and on the other room can be viewed three children who are of different ages. What made them conspicuous was the color their hair color was the same as Roger's.
Those three were bondage on the chair, as the one on the left keep mouth had a metal, on the right one was his eyes been had a weird metal, and the one in the middle was the only one glaring at them that had nothing on his face but his body was inside the metal. You can see from his face some ice flakes, meaning that he was inside the ice.
The two that can be seen the eyes had the same feature. Both have a red and black sphere shape in the middle of their eyes.
Justine had been watching Roger's reaction but his face from the beginning up to this moment was the same, it was as if nothing will falter the child. But it also means that he had seen such.
"Tell me, Roger. Why do you think they are being held like that?"
Roger looked at Justine then looked again at those three children. "Because they are dangerous."
"Yes, they are. How about you Roger?"
Roger eyed Justine. His eyes looked straight into the eyes of Justine. "What do you think?" He smirked.
Justine raised his gun, pointed at Roger's. "Dangerous."
Roger gazed at him as a glint can be seen in his eyes.
