He was caressing his jaw while in deep thought.
The man's proposition is seemingly justifiable but there are flaws on it and the old man doesn't want to risk his business for it.
"Clement, I appreciate your suggestions but that isn't a path I am willing to take." Zoren told the young man.
"Zoren, this is the only way!" The young man insisted.
"Listen young man, your proposition will only benefit you but not me nor my business. You of all people should know how I conduct my business." The old man clarified. "And I don't believe that's the only option that I have..."
"What do you mean?" Clement creased his brow.
"Well...." The old man stood up from where he is sitting. " I will get her to join me by hook or by crook." The old man smirk as if he had a constructed plan already.
