"Ahhhhh! This freedom feels so good!" Aisha sat down on her bed while spreading both of her hands upwards. It was already quarter to nine in the morning when she woke up.
She slept late at night because she had to finish the project given by her employer. Today is supposed to be the last day, but she managed to send it at 3am. She stood up and headed to the bathroom to take a bath, and then went directly to the kitchen.
"I think I'm getting used living by myself." She told herself. Then she remembered her dad, "I'm sorry dad.'' She whispers.
Aisha had troubles during her first month at her new apartment. She couldn't cook her favorite meals since she was not allowed to be near the kitchen area when she was in the mansion. Her father ordered her to concentrate more on her training and schooling since they have tons of maids at home serving her. She was pampered and she hated it.
In a short span of time, she learned to take care of her own needs. She learned how to cook her favorite dish just by searching the internet. She was enjoying the freedom that she has. Amazingly, she also loved doing household chores. She was able to roam around the city with the help of her new friend, Lisa.
Despite the huge money in her bank account, she couldn't simply use them any time since any transaction may alert his father about her whereabouts, so she tried looking for a job. She found a part-time online job that could sustain her, but it's not enough if she wants to have her freedom for a long time. So she applied in a research company. Given her background as an I.T graduate, they gave her a chance to prove her abilities and in a span of 3 weeks they allowed her to work at home. It was just mere research about the global crisis. She loved writing and reading, so she didn't have a hard time.
The money she used to pay for her apartment was the money she had withdrawn before leaving the mansion. She paid her apartment in advance for the whole year. The money she has was not that huge since his father might question her. It's not that her father forbids her to use it but it may raise any suspicion about her plans. She couldn't fail after planning it for a long time. She always wanted to go beyond the northern country side. She wanted to go to the biggest city in their country-- The Central City of Oregon. But she knew how protective her father was. He would not allow Aisha to travel alone. He always sent body guards and experienced civilian men to watch over her. She was blessed to have a loving step dad, but she wanted to be free. She wanted to look for her long lost twin sister.
Her account was linked to her father's account, so any notification of transaction from her bank was being sent to her father. That notice alone would let them know where she was. She couldn't afford to lose this chance to find her sister.
Aisha opened the fridge and saw it empty. She frowned at the sight of her empty fridge. She took her new phone and called her friend Lisa to accompany her to the grocery store. Lisa was a friend whom she met during her first month in the city. Lisa was staying at the apartment next to her room.
Lisa has been staying in her apartment for 2 months before she came. She was from the southern side, while she came from the north. Lisa came in search for a job after her graduation.
Lisa was working as an assistant Designer in a big fashion company when she met Aisha. Lisa was a very jolly and positive person, that's why they were able to get along easily. When she told Aisha to apply to be a model in their company, she extremely opposed the idea. That was their first argument as friends.
"Aisha, I thought you are looking for a good paying job? Being a model in that company is every woman's dream!''
"Lisa, I told you many times that I don't want to. I prefer to be your assistant rather than wear such revealing clothes. It's not just my thing." She answered while sitting in her sofa with a book in her hand.
Lisa just stared at her with knitted brow.
"Don't give me that look again. It won't change my decision…"
Lisa walked towards her and sat beside her. She snatched the book in her hands and faced her seriously.
"Can you tell me why? I just don't understand. You've got the looks, the body and the charm! You're wasting it. If only I have that one of a kind beauty, then I would have flaunted it to the world. Even celebrities will envy that stunningly gorgeous face of yours."
Aisha laughed at her friend's exaggeration. "Haha, Lisa, will you stop exaggerating things!" Lisa gave her a disappointing look.
"Are you blind or something?! Ahhh! If only God gave me that pretty face, long straight and silky black hair, big boobs and slender figure, I will seduce the richest and most powerful man in the country." Lisa's dreamy face made her laugh again.
"There you are again. Stop day dreaming. Not all men want pretty women.'' She picked her book again.
"Hey, Aisha, do you remember my beloved Mr. William -- the youngest, most powerful and most handsome man in the whole country?"
"Eh?'' Aisha didn't actually care.
"Rumors said that his wife left him for another guy. Aahh! That woman is crazy! Absolutely crazy! Which person in the right mind in this world would leave such a stunningly hot husband who owns the world? '' Then Lisa got upset. "Should I go and seduce him instead? What do you think, Aisha?" She posed as if someone was taking a picture of her. Aisha laughed at her silliness.
"Damn you Aisha for having it all!" She blurted. "But you know what; I surely won't leave him no matter what…" She smiled at the thought of it.
"Then I guess, you just can't have it all then…'' Aisha answered.
Aisha met Lisa at the entrance of the grocery store. They bought everything they needed for the whole week. They even planned to have a movie marathon the whole night on Lisa's day off, so they had to prepare a lot of food. If there's one thing that they have in common, that would be their love for food. After buying everything that they needed, they decided to eat lunch at the nearby Korean restaurant. They just love to indulge themselves in the restaurant's buffet service.
What they didn't know was that someone was secretly following them wherever they go.
"Sir, I found her..." The guy told the person on the other line.
