Xander was holding the envelope that Dominic had given. He had asked Dominic to get information about Lupe Gus. He had already searched for her in the internet. He did not get a lot of information. However, he had seen her pictures and he liked what he saw.
With little to no information about her from the internet, he hoped that Dominic had found something extra. He opened the envelope. He squinted his eyes in disappointment. Nothing was new.
"As you can see sir, there's no information on Lupe Gus. Even though she's a public figure, she's really a private person." Dominic said.
"I see..." Xander said as he perused through the papers in the file.
As he was going through the file, something caught his eyes.
"She has two kids?"
"Yes sir. Twins. Three years. A boy and a girl. Only her small circle of friends know that," Dominic replied.
"Married?" Xander asked, not sure why.
"No. She is a single mother,"
"Interesting."
Lupe Gus was a single mother of two. She became a journalist two years ago. Lupe worked for Citizen Broadcasting Corporation. She started from the bottom and rose to the
point of becoming the Queen of Interviews.
But for her to get that title in two years, it only meant that she was good at her job.
She was direct in her questions and had a talent to pin her interviewees in a hard place. Xander smiled at this. The number of politicians who had fallen in public domain eyes because of her interviews are countless.
The number of business people who crashed big time because of her interviews were many.
Xander smirked at this. It only meant that Lupe Gus could make you or break you. Other than being a smart head in journalism, Lupe was a beauty to look at. From the pictures he had seen of her, one could not believe that she was a mother, let alone a mother of two.
"How can one person be so perfect in everything?" Xander wondered.
But other than being a journalist and a mum, who was Lupe Gus? Where did she come from? Who are her family? What happened to the father of her babies?
For some reason, all these questions disturbed him. He perfectly knew that it was none of his business but he wanted to know. No, he needed to know.
"Dominic, set an interview for with The Queen of Interviews.
