Chapter 1 - The Isolated Palace Within Tanay's Twin Mountains (1)

In a luxurious cave within the twin mountains of Eastern Tanay, a man with a solemn glare and an enchanting aura keeps watching the sleeping lady in his bed. This woman have been unconscious for three days, showing signs of life, her face twitching with dreams undoubtfully sorrowful because of her silent tears; but no signs of waking up.

Tadeo, this man with great physique, an aura of a Datu or a King, known to men in this continent as a ruthless and cruel demon unexpectedly softened with the arrival of an unknown creature in front of his palace, disguised as a cave for ordinary men.

No one is allowed near this mighty realm he created for himself, isolated yet marvelous even to the wealthiest men. This King was surprised to see this wounded woman in front of his palace door, wearing pairs of clothing that instead of flowing away from the body like what women in his continent wear, is in contrast, hugging and fitted to her, as if the garment are suffocating her very bones.

Originally, if someone intrude within his palace, regardless of gender and age, she/he would perish in a second, devoid of existing. But this woman is lucky. Because despite wearing a bizzare clothing, she has HER FACE. She looks exactly the same as her.

He had been continuously avoiding interactions with anyone for over a thousand years. Even beasts or other worldly creatures in the mountains aren't allowed to go near his secret realm. Otherwise, they'll be slaughtered or simply disappear as if they haven't existed in the first place. Some people goes through the barrier unnoticed, specially those whose power surpassed the Bathala. But that just stop there. They never succeed intruding Tadeo's wrath.

This realm is widely known throughout the continent. Feared but at the same time longed to be journeyed by countless noblemen, datus and maharlikas, who knowingly seek for the treasures that would bring anyone to his glory and might.

This is truly Tadeo's extreme caution and disregard of the World. For he was painfully betrayed, humiliated, tossed out by his own kins just because of envy and fear that won't ever be admitted by those evil-doers...
