One thing people might know about water.
It flows from higher altitude to lower altitude,
This was a calculated move.
I totally didn't accidently fall into a hole.
After reaching level 2 for the third time, I tried to absorb every last drop of water I could find.
Then, seeing a relatively large amount of water just flowing away, I did the only obvious thing. I tried to absorb it.
This water, washed me away, seperating almost half my body in the process.
On one hand, I am now trapped in a hole. On the other, well...
[Due to the mass of dihydrogen monoxide content of puddle Gavan's body increasing beyond pre-specified amount (100kg), the level cap for puddle Gavan's skills has gone from two to three. Also, puddle Gavan has gained a new skill {{Shapeshift} level 1}. Would you like to gain the details of this skill?]
[No]
So it's not all bad.
It seems to be a very big hole, at least big enough to hold 10 times my current body.
That said, a hole merely a meter cubed can hold a thousand kg of water so... Not that big?
Tried using it. I could kinda sorta creat protusions on my surface. It was totally pointless, and not only did it waste water, it increased surface area, increasing evaporation.
Totally useless. Even more than sense.
Sense hurt to use, but it helped me make out a few things.
First, it's night right now. Second, it'll be day in a few more hours.
Yes, it let me tell the difference between night and day.
That's about it.
As long as i keeps raining, I could...
Can I double up?
Can Iincrease the amount of water near the surface?
Wouldn't this increase both viscosity and density?
If I increase both, it'd reduce evaporation, right?
[Solution: No]
[Solution: No]
[Solution: No]
[Solution: No]
One negative thing about me. I'm too much of a pessimist.
[Solution: Also, that's probably not how viscosity works]
I didn't ask.
[Solution: Yes you did]
...
How exactly does viscosity work?
[Solution: Unable to understand phrase 'Viscosity'. Skill terminated.]
(╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻
...
Now that I think about it, I have no clue how viscosity works... I didn't even know integration, do you expect me to know fluid dynamics?
But making the surface heavier should prevent the water molecules from breaking past the surface.

[Error! Cannot acquire skill {Viscosity Modulation}! Dihydrogen Monoxide levels insufficient! Would you like to know the amount of Dihydrogen Monoxide required?]
Wait... You said you didn't know what viscosity is...
You lied to me.
To be fair... 'Dihydrogen Monoxide'? Really?
{Information} is my skill and the system is a system, so...
{Information} lets me categorize information I should already know, rather than giving me new information. The only things it's told me were things I already knew and things about the system...
I wonder if there's another skill that gives me information, or do I simply need to level {Information} up?
The minute I stopped thinking about it, I realized I had mentally asked so many questions that...
[Solution:
Yeah... Being in a hole all day is boring. I looked over the skills I have, and tried to level them all up to three. I thought about gaining skills, but if there's a cap on number of skills, or a cap on total skill level, a skill like 1+1=2 would be terrible to gain. Not to mention, some skills can be negative. The only differences in skill availability between levels seems to be the level-up skill. I can learn most skills anyway.
{Heat intolerance} is a pass. I don't know how to level {Pain Resistance} given that I can't feel pain anyway.
I'm somewhat wary of {1+1=2}.
Sense level 3 was great. The image was slightly blurry, and a monochromatic blue, but I could somewhat make out the surroundings. Only sight, but still, great. {Information} Level 3 worked basically the same as it did before. I couldn't figure out the differences between levels of Information. Absorb worked faster and at greater distance now, but otherwise, it's the same.
The jewels, however, were change shape and flow. When combined, they allowed me to create a thin stream of water, and leave the hole.
The results, when combined with absorb were amazing, and sense allowed me to gather more information about my surroundings. Overall, things were looking up.
I learned that I was in a vilage, but it was a goblin village, not a human one. I learned that rain contains an absolutely massive amount of water. And I learnt that 1000kg of water isn't nearly as massive as I would have thought a few days ago.
Having powerleveled my skills, I headed, at top speed, towards level 4.
